Yuma HAD to have a great skate, and he did! You could see his patience in every element. I know that will be a program I'll watch multiple times. That may be my "gold in my heart" medal. He is definitely a skater's skater. Congrats!

I was watching it on replay this morning and screamed almost the entire time when he was hitting all his jumps! He and his team can be very proud that this topped his season! Perfect! I will be adding this to my GOAT list of replays! So happy for him! Gold in my book.

No Yuma, NO! Just saw on X that Yuma is taking the 26-27 season off. Say it isn't so!!!! I see it's been posted in Skate of the Nations already but wanted to put it in his FF. Oh my gosh, he will be missed! Who will carry the torch for the Japanese men? Shun? Kao? Rio?

Don't worry, I'm sure Shun will keep it together for the Japanese men, at least. (As much as I love Rio and Kao, I'm not quite as confident in their consistency.)

I too am quite saddened by this news, but I hope Yuma gets refreshed and does a lot of cool stuff on his break!

I finally turned 23! Thank you so much for all the messages. I feel like I've made it this far thanks to all of you who cheer me on every day and the people around me who support me. This year, I'm looking forward to challenging myself with all sorts of things and making it a fulfilling year!

Happy 23rd birthday to Yuma! I'll miss him next year at competitions this year but I hope he can rest and restore if he's continuing. Thanks to him for a great year of skating and resilience.

I guess it makes sense for Yuma to part ways with Carolina at this point, since he's going to be off for the season. If he decides to come back, I hope he will join forces with her again. I think she was a very good influence on him.
