Love him! Such a promising young skater from Japan.
He placed 1st at the Asian Open in the junior category last month and now 4th in his first junior GP with two solid programs. He is musical, has beautiful skating skills, knee-bend to die for that reminds of Shoma Uno or Takahiko Kozuka very nice jumps and spins, he's got it all!

Talented AND adorable! Pity he couldn't snatch that gold medal victory, but now I'm sure he'll tear it up at Junior Worlds!

Just watched Yuma at his first senior nationals - where he skated in the final FS group - and he came 6th!

He was also 5th at the junior nationals, 4th in JGP Canada and was listed as an alternate for the JGPF.

I think he has a great future ahead! Love his performance qualities and he uses his upper body really well in particular. Hope he gets more competitions and junior grand prix assignments next year :)

Thx! Glad to hear it was a good 4T. Looks like there were a few other little problems, but I'm enjoying following his progress. I like his skating!

Congratulations to Yuma who won the junior men's event at the Kanto Summer Trophy over the weekend! :)
He scored 73.64 in the SP and 156.77 in the FS, placing first in both programs to achieve 230.41 points overall.
His 4T is quite stable now and he is currently working on 4S.

Yuma will be competing at the JGP in Courchevel next week! I wish him a great competition!

Congratulations to Yuma for gold! what a great event for him  he landed his 4T both times, with the second one receiving 3.26 GOE, and both of his skates were very good. I especially enjoyed his short program :)

He won East Sectionals and is going to Junior Nationals!
I'm happy for him. His 4T seems quite stable so maybe he could do a 4F one day soon :)

3rd place and a trip to 4CC! So over the moon for Yuma!! His potential and ability is astounding, I'll be sure to follow his career closely.
