What does it mean "in military service now'? Is it mandatory there, in Korea, to be in a military service for young man?

South Korea does have mandatory military service, but I didn't know that it could be delayed so much. I hope that Men Figure Skaters will be able to delay it enough for a complete competitive career, because I don't think that they can practice Figure Skating during the military service?What does it mean "in military service now'? I do not know Korean Culture. Do Koreans wear wedding bans on the left hand? Google says mainly, but some married couples may forgoe bands at times. Dating couples may wear bands.... I see Yuna not wearing bands in some of her ads.

It is possible of course but kind of non sensicle. Are they trying to portray her as "available"????? She is mostly selling to women it seems to me. I have never know a women who uses CD products or perfumes so I dont know the advertising pitch here.
Why? You wouldn't want to advertise other brands in your commercials. Making her remove her ring makes perfect sense. She needs to be advertising the brand she's working for in that ad.

Me too. I and PaulE had the thrill of seeing her win SA Lake Placid 2009? and I saw her win Worlds 2013 in the most amazing comeback skate I have ever seen...no matter how tired or hounded, she always made time for her massive fan base.
