Yuna Nagaoka (長岡 柚奈) and Sumitada Moriguchi (森口 澄士) are a pairs team representing Japan. Yuna was born on September 6, 2003 in Hokkaido and Sumitada was born on December 29, 2001 in Kyoto. They teamed up in spring 2023 and train at Kinoshita Academy.

They are the 2026 Four Continents Championships bronze medalists, the 2023-24 and 2025-26 Japan national pairs champions and the 2025 Kinoshita Group Cup bronze medalists.

Yuna and Sumitada achieved the free skate TES for worlds, placing 4th at Bavarian Open! I've posted links to their programs below.



Ranked 1st for the SBS 3Lo and also for the lift! They had a fall on the 3S throw and an error on the SBS spins which invalidated the element.



A couple of errors on the jumps, but they did receive positive GOE for their double twist and the 3rd highest PCS of all the free skates!
 
Fingers crossed...they are my top choice for qualification at Beijing. I hope the environment there is positive and skaters can stay focused on the competition.
