Yuzuru Hanyu: 2013-14 Season

Over at FS Universe (Posts 8 and 11), a fan posted seeing Jeffrey Buttle "doing more choreo" for Yuzuru. :)

Again my appreciation and thanks to all those who posted links on all things Yuzu.

Its a miracle, we are David Wilson free this season!!! at least with Yuzu's programs  thanks for the info, Maria Victoria!!

edit: or maybe not David Wilson free, but Jeff is awesome so I am happy.

I wouldn´t pop the champagne yet if I where you. Yuzuru do love David Wilson, and he himself said that this other lady wasn´t involve in his programs.

Here, I found it in page 383:

Oh, in the tweet of a fan, Yuzuru did not confirm the LP choreography by Shae-Lynn

And, about the topic of Shae-Lynn, Yuzuru said "That thing, she is talking on her own...."
I asked "Are you practicing?" He replied "Not yet! 'Cause I could not make it to go back to Canada!"
Sorry I asked. I know you have been so busy.

About the choreography by Shae-Lynn, he seemed trying to evade by smiling first. I asked again "You cannot tell us yet?", then, he showed a face of Hmm..., and replied the above.

Sorry for the rough translation, but what's going on really?

Before Yuzu launches his new program choreographed by Jeffrey Buttle, let us watch Jeff's group number for Star on Ice Tokyo last month. Rock style with much joy.

By the way, Javier mentioned his new programs in a interview. SP is a vocal music by Blackbarry smoke and LP is "The Barber of Seville" choreographed by DW. Hope Yuzu can release his programs information as soon as possible.

Javier's interview in Spanish : (need to log in nicovideo first)

Seems interesting choice for SP, but I am not really sure about the LP choice...... :(

Me neither. I can see him in the character but Rossini's crescendo is tremendous. You need a lot of energy especially in the last minutes, otherwise the effect is lost.

Never have listed of that Singer/ band before... looked at some pictures, doens´t look like my cup of tea.

And about the long program you never know a war horse always knows how to fight.

Speaking of Borser say that he wanted to try new styles for Yuzuru´s programs.

So far we have seem:
Drama--- Notre Dame, R&J 1.0 and 2.0
Soft---- Etude and White Legend
Rock (?)--- PW

What do you think Borser wants Yuzuru to try next?

I'm assuming he'll skate to the overture. I honestly can't see Javi skating to opera with vocals.
In the interview, I think he said something about being able to skate to something kind of Spanish (the Barber of Seville takes place in Spain) and Latino music or something like that. I couldn't really understand the majority of it, since I've only taken 3 years of Spanish and Javi speaks fast and with an accent I'm not used to
Reading about the opera on Wikipedia, the Barber of Seville is a comedy, so I think we can expect a fun program with Javi acting a bit. The overture is quite lively.

I honestly really liked KEvin Reynolds' LP music this season. It's at once epic and positive, I really liked it. I would like Yuzuru to skate to something like that

^Yes, Javier talks about:
Javier says that is probably that he will use the music previously listed (BlackBerry and the barber from Seville) but they are still not sure.

Obviously BlackBerry will be a rock inspired program, and with the BS saids that they are still not sure, but they want to used something like latino rithym.

Edit.

Translated a little more:

He wasn ´t happy with his performance at Olympics, so it was easy to go back and training for worlds.
Even so his body was tired, but his team (coach?)support helping him to keep focus.
He said the level at worlds was higher tan Olympics.
He said that most skaters get alone pretty well, anc can hang out and be friends. But they are very serious when they compete.
He said that they don´t know when a 16y/o with big jumps will rise fro the lower rankings and shake the standings (like Yuzuru did).
Finally he said they are thinking in using music from Rock bnad BlackBerry Smoke for SP, and maybe The Barber from Seville for LP or another kind of spanish or similar rythim. The programs are not choreographed yet, and won´t until after the vacations. He is still not sure is they will go with this music definitly.
