For Parisian Walkway program, there are two clips with different angles to watch. One is top-down, and another is button-up. Since two clips were two years apart, I can see how much Yuzu improved in overall performance. :agree:

Wow haven't seen these videos before, thanks for sharing echotpe.

To be honest, I was moved more by that Olympic Team SP performance (despite the stooped landing on the 3Lz and the bit of travel on his final spin) than his individual WR SP probably because I was more anxious as it was his first Olympic performance with literally the whole world watching. As Scott Hamilton put it, it was about Yuzuru showing "what he's all about." And did he!

Jeffrey Buttle on choreographing PW for Yuzuru: "It's always nice to have someone who will sort of play along with the choreography instead of just standing and waiting for me to say something...I really like him because he moves on his own and tries things." http://web.icenetwork.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20120904&content_id=37862508&vkey=ice_news.

The articles are interesting. I want to translate the one about Yuzuru, but I'm stuck with my work at the moment (translation of presentation materials hwell So, I can't deal with long article.

【video】PW 12/8 (compound quadruple meter) competition!

A latest TV program held a rhyme competition with Parisian Walkway. Akiko is one of players but she lost the game at last.

The lady in black is a dancer and she is invited as a judge in this competition. Two players performed the 12/8 (compound quadruple meter) to test their rhyme sensibility.

I have a bottle of YUZU in my cupboard . I make YUZU gelatin for New Years and the juice is good on fish. Fresh YUZU is best but is extremely expensive (and hard to find) in the United States.

thanks for the link!! I'd been meaning to watch him a bit more after enjoying his two skates at junior worlds this year (mistakes aside). I agree, his spins are on the slower and easier side. And oh gosh he's a flutzer, just like Shoma. These new rules are going to hurt them I think JSF might give Keiji NHK? Hopefully he can work on his consistency, his lutz, and those spins. I like him. We've definitely been spoiled by Yuzuru, minimal technical problems, big jumps and fast spins, decent programs, decent skating skills....

This was from the past, but here's a complete video of the small medal ceremony from Worlds 2012 for the FS. It's probably the most random ceremony because of the section with ice solely for the skaters to stand on (also made it difficult to get on and off the podium).

Funny thing is that there was a general question for all three skaters, two people asked Daisuke questions, one person asked Yuzuru a question, and overall no one specifically asked Patrick any questions.

Plus, we can't expect Yuzu's English to be more than a few (broken) sentences. His "I don't know" was the cutest.

Talking about junior skaters, there is one from Spain, Ernesto Martinez (@ErniMartinez). He is 15, NoviceA chamption of Spain in 13/14. He is a huge fan of Yuzu as well. You could tell by his Twitter which is full of Yuzu's pictures.

According to his latest tweets, he got help from Javier who delivered his letterto Yuzu.

He learns Japanese and writes Yuzu's name with those little two hearts:
