Yuzuru Hanyu: 2013-14 Season

someone from Plushy forum has just reported about the show in Beppu:

Short report from my friend( Chinese fan in Japan):

6.22 afternoon show:
Plush was the last performer in the first half show.High mood.Did 3t ,3t2t ,2a in the program"storm".All the jumps were very clean and good.
He was so happy and busy throwing kisses to all the audiences where he was surrounded by the shouting "Zhenya"

plush and Yuzu jumped 3T side by side in the finale just like show "TOI", but this was not over. They made some circles face to face while the movements were inside spread eagle. After several circles two men danced a few pieces to every directions side by side. Both were very happy and tried their best.

Yuzu & Akko encouraging sports tourism, the skaters teaching the kids are really good ways to promote skating as a sport. I was actually surprised that Plushy was in Beppu, the guests were so lucky to have him as a surprised guest. I wonder what made him tag along? Do you guys think Yuzu asked him or it was a spur of the moment decision.

Plushy will perform in DOI shows. That is also surprised.

But I think he should work on his posture etc. first. I mean, I don't see anyone other than javi surpassing his tes right now. It would better to improve his pcs then reserve the tes surprise near the olys :-D

But it seems that he's doing it.

7. What are you doing emphasis in training at the moment?
Expressiveness, posture and so on.

Also there's another interview that he says the same, but we know that he's vastly obsessed with quads, he won't stop. (I don't think this is healthy but well .. what can we do) I hope that someday he will realize that a skater with only one quad but a complete one is better than one with 3 quads but incomplete. Or maybe he already realized that, i think he did. Anyway, he will be fine, he mentioned posture a lot in his interviews :)

In his ex Ienaiyo, his postures seem to improve a lot. Of course it's just an ex but at least we know he is paying attention to the postures.
We will have chances to see his improvement at DOI where he will perform his new competitive programs. Just a few days.

It's not only a matter of knowing his weaknesses but also knowing what to do with them. That's why orser's there to steer his student's interest to the right direction. Maybe he's letting yuzu play for now but starting the next skating season I think Orser will make Yuzu focus more on his skating skills. He can't let Yuzu do whatever he wants or else there will be a repeat of 2013 worlds and I think yuzu is aware of that possibility too.

If skaters themselves know what to do with their postures and basic skills, they wouldn't need their coaches, would they? Of course the coaches will have to push their students to the reasonable directions in practice. It's their job anyways. ;)

According to tweets, Yuzuru really likes Marin Honda. They were cute and hugged each other repeatedly :) When he succeeded with his 4Lo, Marin, Javier, Tomash and Oda rushed to him and hugged him. It reminded the moment when the footballer scores a goal and everyone hugs him. Javier also raised his hand as of a champion. These two were sooo happy.
