It's the unintentional price of becoming more famous, Yuzu's every action and words will be nit picked by a lot of people.
Based on several pictures and interviews, Yuzu seem to adjust to a person's culture when dealing with them. Just for example, after his crosstalk with Monkey Majik, Yuzu kinda gave a man hug to Blaise and Maynard but bowed and held the hands of Tax & Dick. Among the TJ ladies, he always treat them with respect and he rarely plays around with those older than him in contrast to Kana, the younger ones and TJ men. I'm sure he knows his every words and actions are being watched. WTH, his interactions with Kana seems less these days too, which is kinda sad considering they could influence each other well.
Most of the skaters he often gets friendly with are those he'd been competing with since Junior days, so it wouldn't be surprising if he's physically comfortable with them. As for the Russian ladies, I think exposure to Western culture opened him up a bit to skinship but I bet he's still uncomfortable but is too much of a gentleman to tell them which may make them uncomfortable too.
