What do I think about it?

Tabloid garbage, carefully designed to outrage hordes of Yuzu fans, create conflict and rivalry, get people to go watch it, talk about it, see adverts, generate clicks... and make them money.

I once saw one of their videos, and found them irritating to watch/listen to, and they spouted a lot of nonsense. So, no inclination to watch this video, nor any of their other videos.

Agree 100 % with what you said, in addition to that: they are folks who are failed as skaters, now scratching their tongue to get some recognition, as soon as Yuzuru wins something big they will be gushing over him like they did after last years GPF and Sochi. their opinion changes as wind

Alia Jackson: Correct answer is Nobunari Oda :hap93:

"Yuzu has no star quality"... it's too ridiculous for words, an obvious provocation.

Sorry for spoiling the mood here. I was myself quite startled when I heard them saying that. If these days, Yuzu doesn't have the star quality, who else has? :scratch2:

OK, I just realize that we are having a lively quote game here. So allow me to provide one - simple and short - "We are like brother and sister". Who?

TSL's recap on COR, at 19:16 they start comparing Javier and Yuzu saying that Javier has that star quality while Yuzu doesn't...
How do you guys think about it?

Dave said it himself that he did not mean to say Yuzuru doesn't have star quality, but as in that the connection to the audience is different.
IMO, Yuzu is a star. But I don't think they're wrong on that aspect, simply because the mood of the programs are completely different. Yuzuru draws you in effortlessly because that's the way of his skating, but his performances always strike me as very personal. While Javier's programs are meant to entertain the audience. Each to their own.
TBH I've always found comparisons between Javier and Yuzuru a bit off the point because their styles are completely different.

It's one of the British commentators. But I think it's Simon, not Nikki.
Thank you! I can tell the B.ESP guys voices appart but I can't match the name with their voices

Why did they compare Javier and Yuzuru in a COR recap anyway? Yuzuru wasn't there.

The Skating Lesson never like Yuzuru as a skater. I remember they mentioned Yuzuru in one sentence something after Olympic or WC. They didn't like Yuzuru at all during last season. Just before WC somehow they magically turned themselves into supporters and we all know why. They know Yuzuru has a large fan base and just a mention of his name will bring much attention, thus it's helpful to promote themselves (and their videos). They don't like Yuzuru, ok, nothing wrong with that. But it seems to me they use Yuzuru's name to attract viewers which isn't a nice method at all. That's why I never watch them even from last season.
