Sounds very interesting to watch!! I have heard that they'd enjoy some dessert and chat about different topics!! I wonder if yuzu and oda would be able to make shoma laugh or goof around[emoji3]

Japanese people have such a strange way of talking frankly about toilet matters.
In other countries is a taboo topic, but one of my child-hood books was all about poo. I think every child has that book (or several like it) in Japan. -And I don't mean Winnie the Pooh.

I had one too! :laugh2: It was about the digestive system. I thought I was alone on the whole book thing when my mother bought it.

I wonder what Yuzu does have plans for in the future. 3 years is easy: Olympics! But after is a total blank for me. I know he will still do ice shows and skate but what else? Coach? Choreographer? Commentator? Others?

Another Mini Chopin! https://instagram.com/p/5Eg5Y6HNr2/

i think he mentioned he wanted to be pro skater and he might do coaching but only like part time, or at camps, not full time (at least until he stops doing shows) but other than that i dont remember any interviews where he mentions the future,
that little boy is so cute! but i sometimes wonder if they actually want to wear them or even if they want to wear, what will they think about it 15-20 years later when they see their pictures

btw i wonder how his layout is gonna be like, not just jumps, from looking at show version it seems like he will do ChSq and a combo spin, it was ChSq and 2 spins for the past 2 years, i know its gonna be challenging adding another quad but it would be nice to see more mixed program

translation of the snippet of interview of Yuzuru, Nobu and Shoma, full interview will be aired on 18th, another video to look forward to :cheer:

Thanks matmuh for the link. Looking forward to hear his thoughts about love and marriage. ;)

Yuzuru's admission of getting nervous easily and often getting stomach ache and the runs before competition reminds me of this comment about him by Igor Bobrin before Yuzuru became Olympic and World champion: "..he doesn't have the nerves of steel. But, nevertheless, he has already gain quite a big competitive experience, he has proven more than once that at the decisive moments he can 'gather' himself." (http://evgeni-plushenko.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6&p=80616, emphasis added) So he is a good, even if not a nerveless. competitor, and as his TJ teammates opined, the most courageous of them all in competition. :)

If I didn't know much about Yuzu, I would think he's not nervous at all! During warm ups and backstage and pre perforamce, he always looks so calm and serious. If he is nervous he does a very good job controling it! I remember the British Eurosports uncles said after his SP at NHK 2012 something like "I wasnt sure how he was going to do because he looked SO relaxed during the warm up!"

Another version of translation says it is Yuzu who revealed his plan in 15 yrs and Nobu said that was too private. Which one is correct?

The first one = It's Nobu who revealed his plan and Yuzuru who said that was too private. At least, it's how I understand it (I'm not japanese...if someone can confirm ? ) :)

Thank you ! The camera work is much better than for Faoi Kobe, it's a shame this show won't be broadcasted

You got it right. Nobu told of his 15 year plan and Yuzu said, "That's so private."

If Brian Orser ever sees this he'll chew Yuzuru out. That attempt looked like a straight way to a sprained ankle. :slink:

 Nope.I don't think Brian will bother chewing Yuzuru out. He'll just swallow him WHOLE.
Like, "Ah, since I'm Mr. Triple Axel...you want to be Mr. Quadruple axel huh?! Alright..time to eat you up before you kill yourself, you stubborn pooh-lover!"
:frown:

Haha wow ! That's quite funny. It's good that it's not a taboo topic. It is highly related to health after all.

Which reminds me : last year, when I went to Tokyo, I went to the toilet exhibition in Miraikan (future science museum)! It was really fun. Especially going down the toilet (slide) wearing a poo hat :D
