So, I've been maybe a little too nostalgic today, and decided to go through the first pages of this fan fest again (in pretty sleep-deprived mode at that). And look at that old quote from treeloving:

And if we count nationals, Yuzuru is pretty good at this:
First time 17x at 17 (worlds 2012)
First time 18x at 18 (janapese nationals 2013)
First time 19x at 19 (GPF 2013)
Okay, he left out last season and 21x came a little over a week before his 21st birthday, but still. That's kinda cool

If he keeps that trend, it's 23x for the next Olympic season!

Gosh. Chinese commentators Qing Pang and Jian Tong said during gala that some of the judges regretted immediately after they got out from the arena for not giving 10s for components. Can't imagine how huge the score will be if the judges didn't hold back...

If he will be ever able to reapeat this performance level at like worlds or GPF I think the judges will not hold anything and this will be the moment when scoring system will be broken

Same as last year I am unable to watch the interview videos posted on the NHK website...bummer! I think due to copyright issue they won't be uploaded on other sites either, which is a shame since I am interested in watching not only Hanyu-san's interview but others as well.

Agree with others that I felt a little hung-over today! Although I can't wait for GPF to come, I kind of need to calm down a bit for a sake of my heart It's going to be a great competition; just like how Hanyu-san was motivated by others' good performance, I am sure all the other participants felt a little extra push since yesterday!

I've been so hyper about all this that I just found myself packing my suitcase for the GPF. Whoops, what's that thing doing there, I'm not leaving for another eight days. Look at what Yuzuru has done to my poor braincells. I even fixed a missing blingy on the little Japanese flag, it probably came off last year at the GPF during all the excited waving.

Wow, thanks for the full version! The part with the mascots was hilarious, especially with how Domo kept on falling over (though Elladj was to blame for the first one, lol). And at the very end how people squeeled loudly when Yuzu and Satoko paused together for photo. Too cute! (seriously Satoko's EX dress is a beauty!)
