Gosh if Hanyu would only put that much energy into the step sequences in competition it would make his programs even more amazing, but 3 quads takes a lot of energy...
At least we get to see him let loose in the SP. That's one thing I love about his 2011 CoC SP, he just went all out in the step sequence. Some may say it was sloppy, but I just :luv17: it.

thanks for the translations!!! they are so funny, one of the commentator was saying ppl may have different tastes but other fan uncle just didnt let him finish his sentence, he was almost outraged its similar to lady commentator at GPF last season when she said some might like more masculine style

In this blog, it is said that the GOE for Yuzuru's spin in SP (1.21) was the highest ever in men's single category, same as that of Stepane Lambiel. (Yuzuru got 1.21 for two spins in this SP actually.)

信じられないほど美しい！バラ1で一番感動したのが実はこのスピンでした。急遽構成を変えてきたのでスピンを入れる場所も変わり、それでいきなり音とスピンを綺麗に合わせることとかできるの？とちょっと不安だったんだけど、マジでそんな心配してた過去の自分を殴りたくなるぐらい素晴らしかった。

「まるでスケート靴から音が鳴っているかのようだ」と前から音楽と動作がピッタリ合ってると評されてた羽生さんが、構成を変えて急遽スピンを入れる場所を変えたところで音楽とスピンが合ってないなんて事になるわけなかったのです。
もうほんと音ハメバッチリだった。スピンの速度すら音と合ってるのに、プラススピンをしながら手でも音楽と調和できる。スピンの羽生と言われるだけあります。こんなの誰も真似できない。

ツイッターで回ってきたのですが、このスピンの加点が歴代男子シングルの中で過去最高点だったそうで。あのランビと同じ点。凄ぇ…。こんなところでもちっちゃく過去最高点叩き出しちゃってる…。
