Fans of Yuzuru don't be upset of him for the fall ! He is a human, too !

I honestly keep wondering when will he fall this season and there was it, lol
(Please don't get me wrong, I was simply curious)

Well like the nationals thread said, better here than worlds! During kiss and cry he was talking about the pressure of doing it perfect. I hope he doesnt stress too much! He is only human and they make mistakes too! Come back in the free!

For my part, I was wondering whether his run of clean performances of this SP will rival that of PW.

I think his fall eased the pressure off somewhat; it happened and he will learn from the experience and move forward as is his wont. And I still want him, as I've previously posted, to skate SEIMEI clean in this particular competition. The fall probably will fire him up to do just that. Go Yuzuru!

On another note, wishing everyone Christmas blessings of joy, peace, and good will. :)

Ok tbh him having a little slip up will happen soon or later. I don't mind that certainly but at the same time I realize how hard it must've been for him. He has mentioned over and over about wanting to give perfect performances and with the four pretty much flawless performances, it's just harder on him.
I think he's aware of the pressure and all that and I know he's trying his best as always but I hope he also understands that there is/will be a time when he slips up and falls, and that even if not all jumps are there it's ok. He can pick himself back up and be stronger and better for the next skate.
Basically, try to take it easy and not being so hard on himself. I'm sure Brian also tried to comfort him and make him feel better. He probably (mentally) hits himself on the head but I hope he won't let it get to him and come back stronger.

:agree:

Yeah, it's like we finally get a fall so we can get that out of the way and can go on now from here.

On the other hand, step sequence level 4! :agree:

However it's been a while since I see him sweat this much and he also told Brian he is tired. I wonder if the tight schedule is catching up with him.

I'm sure Brian knows what to tell him.
Yuzu is the best skater right now, probably the greatest of all time. Still, he is not supposed to skate perfectly everytime or break his own records at each event. It's not the end of the world that he wasn't flawless this time.

Anyway, there's something magical about this SP. He was flying over the ice as always. And I guess we all wonder where he kept that 4T-3T all this time.

I'm also not that worried with the fall. Minor slips. Its very funny to think few seasons back, when he fell on quad sal it was a big deal, like a break/made deal :drama: :hopelessness: now, we were like...oh ok...no worries, still over 100. it shows how far he grows :agree: brian is right, he is still a human. hope he wont too hard on himself. he has given us unbelievable performances at NHK and GPF, i'm grateful to witness that.

tomorrow a new day. hope he will be in a better condition and happy with his performance :)

Screamed a bit when he fell, but still a beautiful performance.
1. Didn't pop
2. Did not let anything else bad happen
3. Ended with confidence.

-So a learning experience again. Sleep well Yuzu, and come back strong for the Free.

Ugh, I almost hope he doesn't feel the need to be perfect ok Seimei tomorrow so he gets the nervousness out of his system and doesn't build more pressure for Worlds.

I actually thought the same  so he landed that jump on his butt and the world still keeps turning. Everybody was practically waiting for him to finally make a mistake again. Now that we got that out of the way, we can move on. I just really hope he finds a way not to put too much pressure on himself :hopelessness: listen to Brian, bb, you don't have to be perfect all the time. It's in fact good to know that you really are not.

I know I shouldn't laugh about this because it's not nice to do that and could actually be dangerous if the wrong kind of thing came flying....... but honestly, the first thing I thought here was "why is someone throwing a boxer short at his head? :roll9: "

I saw a still shot of this and thought what happened? Anyhow he doesn't look too pleased after that...just my thought but I think people who purposely wait to throw it then is just an attention seeker (or wants special attention towards their gift?) but unfortunately there are always some present at any situation.

I love this too! I mean, no matter what happens, I know that he's going to be fine with Brian.
When Yuzu changed his coach there were so many comments about his beautiful relationship with Nanami Abe, but I would say I love his relationship with Brian even more. He looks so supportive and always there for Yuzu and Javi and he seems to know so well what to tell them in order to make them feel all right. The way he talks, he laughs, he hugs them... I remember how he made Yuzu laugh after the horrible Coc last year when he told him "no quads tomorrow" or those "that's ok...it's ok" after the FS in Sochi. I'm very happy that Yuzu has him as a coach;)
