Remember Orser's interview with IceNetwork (21March) about Yuzu injury "Hanyu was away from Toronto for three months before returning Feb. 26 with a sore instep on his left foot that since has healed."
It did not heal isn't it? Because we can see from Jounetsu Tairiku tv program that he has a slight injury as he was not doing well in Toronto training. :palmf:
As Yuzu said his painful injury was a top secret- what else have you expected Brian to say?
Everybody lies! (House MD).

Me think

But the tv crew and phil hersh did not come to toronto at the same time if i recalled correctly? Phil came a bit later while the tv network came earlier? Perhaps by the time phil came to toronto it indeed has gotten better?

Yuzuru also stated in an interview, as another poster has previously mentioned, that he was pretty used to perfect run-throughs before coming to WC. So I guess they did manage to tone down the pain or heal the injury to a certain, bearable extent.

Oh come on, we all were dying to hear at least anything about our Bunny Boo Boo, weren't we?;)

Yeah about anything....but injury :hopelessness:

Ok got it. Is the injury "a sore instep on his left foot" in that interview is the same injury that we now know "left foot lisfranc joint ligament/tendon damage"? Meaning he re-injured it again?

My previous post not about who say what etc. What I'm asking is whether the injury "a sore instep on his left foot" in that interview is the same injury that we now know "left foot lisfranc joint ligament/tendon damage"?
Well, we can't change the past now, can we? And it would have been strange if Brian did not mention there was a physical issue with his athlete that would have been disclosed by any filmed footage days later anyway. I don't blame Brian. As I said- that type of injury is very tricky. It can stop causing you problems and pain for a while and then when your training gets intense it can come back very soon. He needs patience and very good treatment.

Also what if there were two different diagnosis? Second more accurate because the inflamation went down and the problem could have been identified more precisely? Or: there were two different injuries. It is also a possibility.

Yeah, I've seen it. Days away, Brian should be back by now I suppose. Anyway Brian is not his choreographer so...
Just thinking... what if Yuzu goes back to David Wilson (to "unbreak his heart") to do a LP? Then we might have another warhorse LP... what you think?

actually, i dont think david is so bad. now yuzu's matured so much compared with him two years ago. the point i love about him is David's coreo describes both sexes. contrary, the pro by shae is man only , like poto. he said he'd thought of Christine also.

Too bad Shae Lynn forbid him Christine role :laugh2:

I knew somebody is going to bring that subject to the table.:yes2:

I am not sure. Could be both? Or it could be they mistaken the so-called sore instep as an early symptom of his ligament injury? I know a dancer friend who got her ligament just snapped without any previous obvious symptom though, so I am not so sure. And tendon and ligament is technically a different thing I think. And so far the information is mixed, so...

That makes sense I guess. I think we all forget that he managed to do clean FS and SP runthrough on his 1st day practice AND a clean SP few days after. Even on his last day practice he landed 4Ss and 4Ts. So whatever it was, it did not bother him that much in his early WC days.

:laugh2:
im interestedin his Christine. probably more difficult character than Juriet. of course, the costume may have been a bit of controversial like RJ2.

I knew somebody is going to bring that subject to the table.:yes2:

i read a Twitter having the same thought recently. i'm sure some of our fans feel so.:coffee:

Because of that interview David gave and Yuzu coming at him for a quick hug/handshake at Worlds 2016?
Or: because Javi won with David's choreo!;)
