They're great! I really liked the light blue one and the dark purple right next to it

I think the pale green ones are really nice colors, the top right one and middle left one. Different, more delicate and flowy shirt in one of these colors could suit the Ballade program pretty well.

I definitely prefer the blue one! :D

BTW the video where Matsuoka-san talks about Yuzuru has been uploaded for anyone who missed it today :cheer:

The blue one :)
So the blue one got the most votes so far!!

PS:By the way the show where Matsuoka-san talks about Yuzuru is today right? anyone knows what is the content? :D

What impressed me about Matsuoka-san’s words is “No one is well aware of himself as yuzu.” Matsuoka-san interacts with various top athletes and understands Yuzu since he was younger though interview or so. It is interesting that Yuzu made him say such a thing.
And he refers to yuzu’s routines at competitions like the confirmation of the state of ice, and says what’s important is to have a good habit like yuzu(The theme was to raise your children like a top athlete.). Then, as the way you make your children get a good habit, he emphasizes the basics are crucial (This logic doesn’t make sense to me.).
Anyway, good habits make a good life. I try to accept Matsuoka-san's message like this:laugh:.

Every time I watch Scriabin SP I’m deeply touched by this widely unmatched combination of majestic technique & pure poetry on the ice skated by a 16yo kid with a tameless fire burning inside… see the slow motion at 4:26 , the perfect counter -3A landing followed by a sublime transition , the toe steps at 4:40, the deep knee bend , the spins…it ‘s time to go back to that artistry… .

i have the same feelings... just love this program and his passion and techniques put into his performance..:)

So the blue one got the most votes so far!!

I also vote for the blue one:).

Tomorrow is “Kenji’s Room” No.2! The topic is “The most impressive competition for him.” What’s this? Sochi? Nice? COC? Can’t wait!

That one's really hard to guess. There have been so many competitions that could be considered important and impressive in his career: all the times he's been to Worlds (somehow always fighting through injuries), Sochi, COC, GPF 2013, COR 2011 (1st time he's won a senior ISU competition), too many to choose from. I can't wait to see which one he chooses and why

I guess the most logical one would be coc last season?

Does that mean the competition that impressed him the most?
Or the competition where he thought he was most impressive?

If it's the first, maybe 2006 Olympics where both Plushenko and Arakawa took gold medals... and he would have been an impressionable 11-year-old...

If it's the seond, I dunno... actually I can't imagine him talking about himself being impressive - he is always so modest and self-critical, and saying he should have done better, needs to train harder etc etc...

My first guess is 2012 WC.
First time Japan had two men on the WC podium and he had the most impressive performance after a difficult year. IIRC, he called that performance a "legend" when asked by a fan at the 2014 WC small medal ceremony. And he had always been grateful for the support he received after the earthquake.

My second guess is 2014 WC.
It's the second time Japan had two men on the world's podium and in front of a home crowd. He came back from behind and had a clean performance of the most difficult long program. He seemed pleased with his LP performance. Also, he fought through the rest of the sp after the first mistake. But it was still regrettable due to the mistake.

My third guess is 2014 GPF.
He was just very happy to skate after the CoC and NHK disasters and he was almost perfect.

None of the above competitions is perfect. But I think these competitions are more memorable than others due to the circumstances he faced at the time.
