That spread eagle - 3A - Spread eagle is such thing of beauty 9and his edge is deeper too!)

Worth one season wait for it XD

I think the reason why he doesn't want to do 4T 3T is because he really wants that quad in the second half and it would be, of course, much harder to do a 4T 3T at this point. Honestly, I think the amount of transitions before his 3Lz 3T is harming a lot his 3Lz, there no point in that if he can't seem to get the jumps landed. Maybe he could simplify it a bit and make it harder as the season goes on.

What is his actual layout again? Is it 3A, 4T, 3lz3t?

The run through fell once. But he fell a few times while doing some other jumps outside the run through, do you guys think he is ok after the falls? I just want him to be healthy.

Skaters are very used to it, don't worry. ;)

He seems pretty ok, relaxed, and in good shape. These guys are more than used to falls, he wouldn't stand up laughing if he had hurt himself. I think he's ok :agree:

So no donut spin?? If he took it out I wonder why he's still doing Biellman. I think the reason why he doesn't want to do 4T 3T is because he really wants that quad in the second half and it would be, of course, much harder to do a 4T 3T at this point. He marked the spin. It's still there. He probably overthinks the combo tbh. The layout is 3A/4T, 3lz3t

O_o

I take such things with a pinch of salt... but if it's true - those are not what I'd call "fans".
"Fans" would show more respect and not be so rude/selfish/entitled/etc
Blocking the door is more like "stalkers". It's creepy.

Do these so-called fans have any common sense?

is there not enough music timing in between the lutz and 3T so that he does not need to rush

I think both the music timing and the little preparation are affecting that combo. He had a pretty big space in the music to glide comfortably into the 3Lz in PW and the timing was not as rushed so he managed to get the 3T right as well. He didn't miss it so much in the second season he used it (only in SC I think?). But well, I think he is pretty decided on landing that combo.

I think he probably will try 3lz3t at the low level competitions, i.e. Autumn Classics and GPs. If the 3lz3t is still giving him troubles, he will try 4t3t at the bigger competitions like GPF, 4CC and WC, especially if his solo 4t landing is good in the early season competitions.

So far, he hasn't landed any 4t in the 2nd half of the program in competitions, so there is no guarantee he can land 4t3t in competitions either.

Do you mean that he will get back to his previous jumps layout he used last year in SP?

No, I meant he will use 3A/4t3t, 3lz instead of 3A/4t, 3lz3t if the 3lz3t combo is still giving him troubles in early season competitions. That's my guess.

You aslo said that he never landed 4T in the second half of his programs do there is no guarantee that 4T3T will be successful. He basically does it without music but the landing on 3T does not look solid. I don't know. I think he's stubborn so he'll go for that 3Lz3T for the entire season, chasing it like cat is chasing a mouse.
Also- does 4T3T give him an advantage from the score viewpont?

He only attempted 4t in the second half once and that was COC last year. His attempt was not successful. He tripled the jump. Doing 4t3t, 3lz and 4t, 3lz3t give the same BV. But 4t3t is more difficult than 3lz3t. So I think from judges' perspective, doing 4t3t is more impressive than doing 3lz3t and failing 3lz3t looks bad.

You think they'd reward higher GOE in case 4T3T is successful so he'll have an advantage performing it instead of 3Lz3T?

Not a bit, one of the things many people complain about is that such difficult combo is not properly rewarded under the current judging system. His current jump BV is 8.5 (3A)+ 11.33 (4T*) + 11.33 (3Lz3T*) = 31.16
And if he were to change the 3T: 8.5 (3A) + 16.06 (4T3T*) + 6.6(3Lz*) = 31.16
It remains the exact same BV, but the 4T3T is regarded as a much more difficult combination than a 3Lz3T. But then, Yuzu always seems to have an easier time with difficult combinations than easier ones.

His solo 4T already gets seriously high GOEs, it would be difficult to go above what he already gets.
