A couple of shaky landings and mistakes but smart recoveries Its just the beginning of the season and I think he did pretty well despite the hiccups. Cant wait to see it again at SC! One of my favorite programs from him!

I think 4T is there, and I think it's very strong start for season in terms of what his history was

4S seems to not be problem anymore, he is more relaex going for it

I much prefer the first costume with the green accents and agree this one seems very loose and flimsy. Hmm...

Well he certainly went nuts with the blingy threads on the costume, didn't he awesome. Me like. (although I agree it could be a little tighter)

I agree. For now I am not digging the gold band that cinches the waist in. I thought the first costume looked really good - nice, clean, and simple.

Edit: It wouldn't be Hanyu without the bling though. I remember Mama Hanyu bedazzling his outfit for his senior debut.

Anyone else noticed the lady and the man beside her who stood up to see him spin because they couldn't see? I know I should concentrate on him but...lol it's like they don't want to miss any moment!!

Also noticed Nam came out and stood beside the rink to watch. Hope he is okay.

I think it was a very solid performance from Yuzu, after all, it's only the beginning of the season. There really wasn't much competition for him save for Nam, and he improves a lot when he knows he needs to perform to his best to win. I saw him a little cautious, not as fast and detail-focused as the practice (but I expected it already), weird to see him miss the 3A combos but he was very smart to add the Lo3S to his 3Lo, he's very good at on-spot layout changes! It was great to see him land his 4S, but now it's his 4T what worries me, but well, he didn't seem too mad at himself, he was smiling a lot in the K&C and talking to Brian, it was a good start. I can't wait to see the program again at SC!
PS: Anyone noticed Nam watching Yuzu's performance from the boards? Cricket Bros pulling a 1-2

the costume looks lighter the more far-fetched at the same time, the face of Yuzuru. then he says he does not like frills and even asks to get laughs ..

promising start essae program is unlike anything we've ever seen ..
