Agree, he's more likely to have trouble with a Quad combo in the 2nd half. I'm super disappointed that his step sequence only got level 2?

Anyway - beautiful program. This will likely become my favorite.

The costume irony this season is that we saw both the SP and FS outfits before season start. Then both of them changed (and not in a good way). The gold fabric in Chopin top should be much softer to have a nice drape. Then the Seimei costume got sort of flimsy looking. I don't mind the bling but it seems to have lost the distinctive shape of the summer costume.

I think that Shae-Lynn did really great job. I already liked the choreography at the ice show but that succeeded in adding more detailed. there is nothing boring parts through his program.
She instantly became one of my fav choreographer by his performance today.
He seemed to quite concentrate on his performance and after all, be satisfied with it (also according to him being very talkative with Braian in the K&C was another highlight :laugh:) that’s what I would like to see from him. kinda shame on the jumps but if he skates cleanly I don’t know how much scoring potential the program has. He could get over 300 points along with his SP if he pull it off as almost perfect? His musically amazed me even more.

Well, he left a lot of points on the table this time, aside from the UR 4T without the combo, scratchy landings on some jumps and the missed 3T on the combo, his step sequence was lv 2. So those are points he can get back, and obviously, if the performance is better, his PCS may rise a little bit.
So yep, a lot of scoring potential :yes:

And ehm...I actually liked the pattern in the costume... :slink:

I don't even care for the costume change, the program was absolutely mesmerizing. Usually when I watch him live (through livestream of course) I'm getting nervous before each jump, but as soon as he started and landed his 4sal I totally forgot to care and was watching in peace, he completely held my attention, it's stunning. He's keeping almost every little detail from the choreo, a ton more than I thought that he actually would. This is a world of difference from POTO.

When I saw him at the warm up I thought the black gloves were a no no, but when he started with the choreography I thought that it actually enhanced his hands very well. The program is dark and magical, he floats; it's just so Yuzuru honestly. If he manages to do this cleanly, lord, no one can beat that.

PS. If they change the step sequence because it received level 2 I will riot.

Woah!!! I also find this breath sound really amazingly fit to the music and it's Yuzu doing the breathing?!?!?!? I must download it and loop it on my mp3 player!!!

Edit: I must say I love this seimei program! Usually for me, watching fs is so scary that it feels like forever before it ends, but for seimei, I got a feeling that it ended suddenly and so quickly! (like I couldn't get enough of it!)

I really have so much respect to this beautiful boy. He has ice in his blood, he thinks so fast in just seconds. If I was in this kind of situation I would be paralyzed. Good Yuzuru!! No perfect or clean program but after Romeo and Juliet 1 this could be my second favorite FS.

Same! I came here because I wanted to say that! :laugh: When people were saying stuff about the sparkles I thought "Hm it looks fine to me but maybe it's just because I'm watching it in a low quality vid..." And when they were saying how bad it looked in better quality I though for sure there must have been something I just wasn't seeing! So I looked at it in the better quality pictures and up close and I still think the pattern is interesting, not ugly. I also like the new cut of it, it looks more similar to the inspiration to me. And I'm not just blindly loving it either! I swear! I hate his SP shirt.

:yes: and the black gloves could make more mysterious and magical atmosphere in his performance field.
