On this http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3a4q60_20151013-yuzuru-hanyu-image-training-autumn-classic-international_sport clip of him doing image training.. so amusing to see those cameraman/photographers squatting to shoot him  and while I think that image training provides us to a lot of interesting images (no pun intended) that of him doing ina bauer is the most amusing to me lol. Oh and also him doing Chopin moves like at 4:20s mark.. he's so dainty~ ;)

I'd also say that most of the times he'd look like he wobbles when actually he's just going through movements spins and twirls and what not and couldn't help but thinking what if one time he accidentally bumps into someone or someone bumps into him  that's be a funny sight.

Thanks! I watched several times where you point out. These movements are inspirational. Further, the bolded part's movements are perfect with music. so cool!

I was rewatching for the 100th time the edit of the clean program done with the two practice sessions and goodness, the 1st step sequence is so beautiful. especially the moment after 1:49min 1:49min when he does his kind of déboulés all tough and warrior-like and then reaches with his arm so beautifully. I nearly cried because it is so perfect, and he is so into it :') The bent-legs-then-extended-spread-eagle in between the two quads is also giving me life.

Oh yeesss.. that strolling backward steps were super lovely.. well actually the whole sequence I really like it. Arm extension, twirls, glides forward with those extended arms. Gosh the gorgeous is so pleasing to my eyes.

Yuzuru appears a little bit at the beginning of a program about Shoma Uno.

He says,

"As we were doing skating together for long, I have a strong feeling about Shoma, like "Here he comes at last!"

Yuzuru seems to be very happy about the emergence of younger rival ;)

I have the "Here he comes at last!" feeling too. I remember seeing those videos when all of them were very young, especially Shoma when he was very small and cute he already participated in various events together with Yuzu. Actually, it took longer than I have expected for Shoma to win his junior title and move up to seniors.

Hanyu rightfully now will be outscoring Chan in all scoring boards when clean
his biggest threat now is the talented Shoma Uno who could be the star by 2018

There are a list of wonderful young skaters. All of them are great talents, for me there is no one better than one another, all of them have equal chances. Even Nam or Boyang, or older skaters like Javi or Patrick, Denis.

But it doesn't matter for now when this season hasn't even started. Because all skaters have equal chances, as men field is always unpredictable. I have seen many skaters who were forseen to become stars have failed, or many skaters with great skills never have never made it.

Men are always unpredictable.

still Hanyu will get the PCS lead, not Chan, his biggest weapon which was his PCS cushion isn't in his side anymore
and men are always evolving now, many are now all around skaters and can do quads and triple axels with no problem

Shoma, Han Yan, Nam and Chen have great futures ahead of them

I remember you, I think I know who you are.

Anyway, I don't think it's right to write off old skaters that fast. Last season Javi did have bad outing at JO. And yet he ended up wining WC. This season Patrick started off not very well, but he can still be among the final group at WC.

Thank you for these videos! I've been watching his Chopin and how he is trying to match every sound with a step or turn or move, like when the finger of a pianist touches a key- Yuzuru makes a new move, it is crazy, simply crazy how much he wants to make the music sound from his blades. I have never seen anyone doing it through the entire program, entire Chopin piece, every single sound, every single beat is done by the skater who wants to conquer the music. And I can't name him an artistic skater but what he does in Chopin is absolutely out there, it's a new level of musicality. Even his jumps should start and end with a music sound, look at that Lutz combo, listen to it basically... Hope he achieves a perfection in "Chopin discipline" if I may name it that way. Because that is what he wants- with technical difficulty and with great PCS- another level of perfection: "mastering Chopin". He's one of a kind. Amazing Yuzuru.

What about Seimei? I think he was cautious during Seimei. He skated tentatively. His step sequence wasn't fast and as sharp like he did during practice. But after that second 3A he got fired and added that 1lo3S after 3lo, then 3lz he did so well, don't you think?

Seimei is a new program, I agree he was very cautious while skating it at competition, he was nervous about those quads. I'm sure he will train hard in order to show a clean skate and then add some vibes to the presentation. I believe that Seimei could be a great program, we just need to give him time to make it wow.
As per 3Lo1Lo3S- that was fantastic, I think my jaw dropped down. That was like a little souvenir, you know, like "okay, I missed my quads, let me bring you something special instead". I mean- how can you say no?:)

I think I myself can name him an artistic skater now. Both great technician and artist, because what he's demonstrated out there was pure art and magic, really an another level. His artistic evolution has started last season and now he's breathtaking. He has something even some good artists lack and as you've said his musicality and attention to details is outstanding.
In his one recent interview Tsuzuki-sensei said that Yuzu's aiming to become a skater who's not only a jumper but an artist too.

He could have gotten more points if he added 3T after the final 3lz don't you think? My friend said he should have done that but I disagree, because after the fall 4T I don't think he was sure about the calls he would get.

I agree with those who call him all round skater cause he has everything any skater could dream about. I think that artistic to me is a bit more than what he already does. You see when I compare him to Machida, Lambiel, Weir- these guys had to deliver it artistically first, always, all of them had periods of fantastic technical performances but artistic side was always the main idea for them. Yuzuru pushes the technical level up high- I love him for that- but if you watch him at the end of a tough season- he loses his artistic vibes at times because that does not matter as much as the technical delivery. There's one detail about him that I see all the time- he has a leading choreo arm in most of the situations, the one that makes a beautiful wave or move whilst the other is silent, hanging down alongside his body. When that second arm is going to "sound" in unison, then he will most probably become an artist to me. Because that is a minor detail but it matters. Again- if anybody is reading this as a criticism or a hate note- it is not. It is a little growth possibility from my point of view.
Of course he's breathtaking. He's a rockstar on ice.

Well, in hindsight he should have, but Yuzu had no hindsight available so he played safe.

That's also my reply. But my friend's reason is that: "Skaters know their rotations."
I don't think they don't know, but it was during competition and it was tensed. Not to mention his failed 4T was once called 3T at NHK 2014 I remember.

I too thought he wasn't sure for that second 4T but also- you know- he was improvising and I love when people do that. One has to be really good to improvise like that, under the current system. Also- he was safe with the score, it wasn't about getting a mark that would be a bit higher, I think it was something different.

Are you talking about that FS at NHK? It was called a 3T bc he really only did a 3T.
Haha I think some people might be expecting a lot from him because he is so good at thinking on his feet.
