certainly his commitment is amazingThey just changed it so it needs to be polished. --It will be better after a few outings. Right now it looks less in tune than the first one. But still, total commitment from Yuzu...wow.

Thanks for sharing these. I'm going to take a few minutes off to watch them![]()
I am hoping there will be a side-by-side comparison video of sort coming out soon by one of the many talented fans...since I am quite dumb and don't really know what ya'll talking about.Or it could be that I haven't had the original version etched into my brain?
Come back from the practice session just now. It was a blast. What is this guy? When he skates, the aura around him can not be explained. He is focused, cool, composed, and so charismatic. No matter how cute and humble he seems outside the rink. On the ice, he is the king and he truely believes that he is.

from behind of my work desk.
At first when I saw everyone's reaction to the stsq, all I could think of going into this video was, "Hmmm, it can't be that bad." However, after spending a long time searching for the practice video (thanks, Sony Music) and being able to finally watch it, I must agree with the majority of you here. What I liked about the last stsq was how it was approached with aggressiveness and dominance. I think if he was to put more power into some of those movements it might just work, but now it's too mild for such a demanding music. Also, what's up with the camera work? Like just stop zooming in! Cameraman be zooming in like he fangirling.
Gambatte Yuzu....all the best

Another angle of the 4S
Oh no! :hopelessness:, please he needs to concentrate on his practice and competition
Good to see he's regaining his consistency on itI partially agree regarding the stsq as it does seem like he is not in precise control upon them. At times it seems a bit much, though i'd like to see the whole program first. I think a few of the new should be taken out and the rest polished to the brilliance that Yuzu polishes them.
Regarding the camera- ITA. It is like an amateur is filming. I hate it when they cut the stsq by zooming in too much.

HOLY F!! I hope someone tells this person to cool his/her head. Bodyguards on alert!
I can't tell the different :hopelessness:It's smooth but isn't that a 4T?
I can't tell the different :hopelessness:...i changed it
to Brian is so cute it looks like he's screaming 'HOW could you leave this baby?? feel the attack!'
I just thought it's cute!
Hahaha. I noticed Adam (and maybe Raf?) sneaking a glance when Yuzuru was doing his ina bauer. Btw I think his ina bauers are always amazing and this one is no exception. Thanks for sharing stuff guys!!
I noticed while they obviously changed some parts in the stsq, half of the original parts were still there.. the most apparent changed (the one missing) was the three backward glide steps. If anything, it seems to be fuller now and more complicated, which ofc is the reason they tweaked it, to get those levels. I also think he looked somehow unsure-ish maybe he's still adjusting and I think we'll be able to judge at the competition. I understand why most of you guys feel the loss of the original version but as some of you guys said, the original actually did seem a little 'empty' (from the more technical pov) even though it fits with the calmness (for the lack of better term) vibe of the music part better.
Anyway he did so well with the jumps especially those trippy quad toe I'm so glad!! He seems to be able to get the right timing and speed for those jumps, which is relieving.
And did you guys see all those eyes on him pretty much the whole time? haha I mean not only the audience but also some skaters and the staff/crew in the rink side.
Also, right before the chsq (that he decided to not do) he turned his head to Brian (who acknowledged him and clapped for him) and smiled at him like saying hehe I'm not gonna do it but I did well until now right?I just thought it's cute!
Overall he seems pretty comfortable with everything so that's a good sign. Let's hope he can hold it all together well until the competition and wish for the best!![]()
