I am sure Yuzuru could improve pcs (if there is no politic , of course). Here he is not in best form in term of commitment to the program especially in the last minute, he is also a bit slower. Still it is a tremendous achivement to land 3 quads in competiton.

My heart was ridiculously beating during his performance, I would say that the result was good for him at this point and also a good start for the beginning of the serious competition.
In my eyes he was too focusing on his jumps and still it looked way better in the practice though it’s surly understandable. :yes:
It was kinda sad seeing Dice’s reaction in the Kiss & Cry though I think that the placements was so right.
Almost my ideal podium after That SP. The fact that Yuzuru was beaten by Patrick would boost him on fire even more. Anyway, well done Yuzuru.

Congratulations to Yuzuru! I knew he'd do well (because I purposely avoided keeping up with the competition live...) and I'm so glad I was right Shame about the lutz and the pop but he did well for everything else

Yes, the last minute of the program was difficult for him which is why Brian mentioned "conditioning" several times while they were in the K&C. He ran out of gas which was evident on the lutz. The 3 quads are demanding, but I'm sure he'll improve his stamina as the season goes on. So happy to see him on the podium and halfway to the GPF. He looked very handsome standing there with his silver medal.

Thank you! I am actually unable to watch any of his FS on youtube because of a Sony Japan copyright on the music, making it unavailable in my country. I wish they would at least mute the music like the one thread posted on the Edge, but they completely block the video :scowl:

I can finally breathe again. I've been holding it since the Ice Dance portion and was so worried I didn't even want to move. I'm glad we've survived!
