Im surprised he didn't know this rule considering how good he is at avoiding zayaks and other rules in the free. Oh well, atleast he won't make that mistake again

This rule is only from last season, its new maybe that was the reason.

Did Mrs Flade interview Yuzu directly ? is there a clip of this interview ?

it's curious and a bit akward Yuzu felt the need to specify he does not have a coach in Japan (excusatio non petita, we say in my language) and it was little difficult for him to train without Borser, since he finally mastered the 4S after two years of failure , right after Coc accident, and obteined his best FS TES, which is also the best FS TES ever in Barcelona 2014 …

about Yuzu's team does anybody know the reason why Tracy Wilson is not listed as his coach actully?

I'm just laughing so hard thinking how coincidence these two post. LOL Yuzu we thought you rarely Zayak because you know about it or maybe because he rarely does many doubles except for double toe for the last few years and thought the rules apply for triples only...

about Tracy, Yuzuru still has SS sessions at CC but he isn't in need to have that much training specifically in SS, because it is already top level and I remember Orser said in interview because he spent less time with Yuzu last year, he will give him much more time this season, so maybe from now on Yuzuru is under full supervision of Brian (just my speculation). Of course training without Brian from the beginning seemed not that difficult , he had amazing result at GPF (even Brian gave him written schedule for those days) but later we have seen terrible result of it, by 4CC time when he sprained ankle and kept practicing old layout by own decision unfortunately Anyways I am so glad he decided to spend more time on his training base at Toronto and felt regretful not being in Canada last season, now he is well trained and Brian promised to do his best to keep him healthy for Korea, it will be amazing years :dance:

I like this illustrator, Yoshitaka Amano, very much. It is perfectly matched with the image of Seimei.
He was in charge of the costume design of Onmyoji.
I'm a bit dreaming his costume design for Yuzuru someday :

That's pretty cool!

One thing I noticed is that there is not that there is not that "grabbing" movement right after the twizzle-like thing, the one when he has his two arms stretched out as if he was holding somethig. I like that move so it's good that they added it.

Given his programs are technically so demanding, I don't think anybody can execute Yuzuru's programs except Yuzuru himself because no one else has Yuzuru's technical prowess. Performance wise, Yuzu has a very unique appearance and style. It's rare to see a boy with such soft features/body lines yet explosive power. (Yuzu's physical appearance is the exact opposite of his character/personality.) I don't think other skaters can perform his programs either.

People often say that they don't like certain program/performance because the program is bad or the skater is inartistic. But a lot of times, it's because the program or performance style of the skater doesn't suit their taste.

So he really wasn't aware of the rule that resulted in his two jumping passes invalidated no wonder his reaction haha. I thought it's adorable how he's like :hslap: at himself after seeing the score.. probably only half realizing it before Brian explained about it to him.

“I tried to skate exactly as how I practice every day,” said the 20-year-old. “It didn’t need to be perfect, but I just wanted to show what I do in practice. I believed that I could do it because I had a good feeling. So I was able to do every quad in the free program.” :agree:

“I fell on the Lutz, which is probably also a part of how I practice,” he added with a laugh.

Like he said, I'm sure he'll continue getting better and comfortable with the program. Hoping for the best result!

It's good to hear him wanting to practice with Brian even though he's capable of doing it by himself.. he realized the importance to have guidance. And it's great to know that he's able to spend more time with Brian this season and train in his base.

It's also nice to hear his passion in continuous learning/studying in something other than skating. He'll have much success in the future no matter what happens.
