Oh and let me add that I loved when he landed the lutz how he clenched his fists like "YES I SUCCEEDED"
And for the scores, how he raised Brian's hand, giving the honors to his coach and bowing at him. Their relationship is very nice to watch :)

Can I just say how extremely jealous of the people who get to see it live?? Both SP and FP are amazing to experience live I bet!
same :roll9:
But I'm actually really happy for him that he got to do this "at home". I guess to him that would be a special extra bonus on top of being able to deliver two great skates and get such fantastic scores. Don't know, but he just seems like that kind of guy :) It might not be the most important thing, but I guess it still matters

It definitely mattered a lot to him that he achieved it at home. I don't think anyone is more proud to be a representative of Japan than he ;)

OMG....it was just brillant, magnificent !!!!! What a performance ! :cheer:

Actually I have an ear infection, it hurts like hell, I'm drugged by the painkiller but in the same time I'm soooo happy, that's so strange xD

Thank you Yuzuru for this exceptional moment of figure skating !!!!! :cheer2: :thank:

I wish you "Good health Ficelle" ! :)

I'm late to the party. I'm still in shock. I never expected to see a perfect SEIMEI to happen this early in the season. This still seems so unreal. That was so amazing!

And I need people to gif the BOrser Hanyu double synchro goat noise imitation like ASAP
I need to rewatch the skate to see (haven't yet, been too busy crying and browsing the forum), but mostly hear that. I didn't catch anything like a goat noise the first time, and have so far only watched it once. Ehm, I think I was much too busy squeeing and shouting in your ears over the phone to hear a goat.

It's kinda funny how we keep talking about "surpassing" 300 points. It sounds like he made it just so, when what he actually did is jump of that barrier and then fly over an entire continent before he landed again
It still seems surreal. What really happening this morning?! Did we all enter an alternate universe or a dream state where we all had the same dream? Surely this cannot be reality.

Y'know what also really makes me so happy? That it happened to this gorgeous Japanese music. To me, that makes it extra special, and I bet especially for the Japanese fans, and himself.

I'm really tempted to update his wikipedia bio  "His hobbies include playing video games, shopping for high-class ear plugs and smashing world records, including his own" .....somebody stop me, please :laugh2:
No no, by all means, go right ahead.

I didn't watch both live broadcasts because I was too nervous to do that. I waited until the results were out and then I had the courage to check the scores. Screamed when I saw the short program score and had my fingers crossed for the free skate. Today I was doing dishes when he skated because I couldn't handle the pressure watching live lol. Screamed again when I saw the free skate score and my blood pressure probably went to 110/150 and I could hardly breathe. Rushed to the television and watched the magnificent skate in tears. He really pushed himself to a totally different level. Now the 322.40 is the new challenge he's going to conquer and he will do it. He will be better and better. Wish the best of him <3

Sorry I am just too tired to translate right now after exciting historical day. I will sleep because it's midnight here.

But I just wanted to say that he talked about how he heard and felt the supporting voice of people from around the world which logically and physically should not be hearing while he was performing and that has enabled him to do this.
I think our prayers reached him!!

And he said "he will continue trying to go further ahead since it is not his last competition nor Olympic Games in Pyongchang nor the next next Olympic". I think this really is the first time as far as I remember that he talked something which really indicates the possibility of competing even afte Pyongchang, and I was thrilled:love::love:

I watched the skate live on tv and ......OMG I don't know how to describe my feelings.:eeking:
