I am finally arrived in Barcelona ! No practice for me tomorrow because I want to do a little bit of tourism but of course I will be here in the evening for the competition. From what I see it seems as Yuzuru is fine and in a good physical condition. I can't wait to see him in real :yay:

Quoting myself from the other thread just because

I totally forgot to mention that the lady announcer at the venue sets new standards when it comes to butchering skaters names :laugh2: hilarious! I don't even remember what exactly she called Yuzuru. Yuzuru Genja or whatever, I have NO idea, it wasn't even close to being close! everyone around us just burst into laughter because every other name was total gibberish!

Loved how the third time or so, she prnounced it correctly, well, recognizable, anyway. Someone must have taught her!

Oh and what I actually came here to say  he's still as gorgeous as ever  his jumps looked great, he was doing quads and combinations all over the place. Spins were absolutely gorgeous, as always. He did the step sequences when someone else's music was playing, but he looked really sharp. I'm not worried about anything  he's looking really great

Thank you ♡ I'm glad he looks fine. Good luck Yuzuru!

Less than one day until GPF :yahoo:
For all the fans who went to Barcelona: have fun and enjoy the competition!! (I'm already very excited about watching this at home so I can't even imagine how excited you must be:laugh:)

Go Yuzu!
I'm ready for 4S and 3A, Brian's reactions and bromance moments

My husband went to a covenience shop this morning around 9:00 o'clock (he is working at home) to buy his cigarettes and tried to buy ANAN magazine for me, but already sold out at one shop, and he got the last one at another shop.

Yuzuru is surely contributing to Japanese economy in various ways. I feel he is regarding this type of things as his job. I remember someone on TV said that Yuzuru is a great actor in a meaning and playing the role of "Yuzuru Hanyu" perfectly. This is not a bad meaning at all, and the person said this with a sense of respect.

ANAN magazine wanted him to portray "a great athlete but a boy-next-door at the same time", he perfectly responded to that. KATEIGAHO wanted him to portray "a young athlete who values Japanese traditions", and he responded to that perfectly as well. And actually he has these characters in him, which is so magnetic.

It's so amazing. He is only 21, but has already achieved so many titles and records, and still responding to people's expectations. I'm sure one thing though. He does not necessarily dislike this situation. He himself said that he likes to attract attention and capture the audience. And not so many can experience these things, just reserved for the elite.

Again, it's so amazing. Yuzuru knows what he can and what he should do next, and keeps improving, giving us such joy to watch him.

I only want him not to push himself so hard and stay healthy.

Safe trip to those who are heading to Barcelona :agree: Enjoy the competitions, and please do not forget to report to us later

Very well said!! Can't say it better

Loved the photos :thank: I have a simple-minded question, why do %99 of skaters wear black outfit for practice? :scratch2:

Off the top of my head--to make it easier for coaches and trainers to correct their body-line and see if they are doing things right. Also, everyone looks good in black.

He looked good in the practice.. I believe he'll be fine. And remember that it's not about breaking records here, but being able to perform to his best at the time and feel satisfied. I hope he'll be able to keep his momentum and spirit! :cheer: the competition will be tough here but I think it'll only motivate him to do well. :agree:
Looking forward for SEIMEI practice video.

Oh and the timezone doesn't allow me to actually follow live update so good for me..

Thanks for Pamina for the report and hope you and the rest attending will have a great time!

I was able to buy ANAN in Book 1st this morning, I grabbed my copy before heading to school because I fear that it might get sold out when I get back. The large poster is such a nice touch. Despite having access to the magazines, I only buy the books. This one is different being more geared towards fashion so I grabbed a copy. And, yes, I am looking forward to the GPF. To those in Barcelona, enjoy!!!
