I don't even know what to say. I was so afraid the entire time, so tense, and then up he went into the air and landed a gorgeous 4S (!!!). Told myself to not be complacent, tensed up when he was setting up the combo, and then that 4T-3T with hardly a blemish, and the 3A. I demand 3's for the 3A but whatever, more room to grow, then! I am entirely too happy right now. I hope this means he's settling right back into the swing of things, though as the B. ESP commentators have said, let's not be greedy.

Hysteria aside

He simply uses his skating to enhance not only the program but all of his elements. Its not like he does some turns and then strokes into a jump. He uses every bit of effort to compliment the last movement while somehow leading into the next. It's almost like the program couldn't be put together in any other way. And then on top of it he lands every jump perfectly. My god man....it doesn't compute. That's why we all get hysterical. About that......

Now, I think he will skate well tomorrow, but it won't be as good as NHK. Which is a good thing, because he needs to pace himself.
