If your wife does something, you better follow, lest you get no dinner at home. :slink:
Well thank you very much, now I have that picture of housewife Yuzuru, in the kitchen, with an apron, trying to cook, *trying* being the operative word I assume....... strangely enough, I'm not sure that will be a very pretty picture

Yuzu to Javi while holding a kitchen knife: You better come back with a 2-quad SP, otherwise no sashimi for you.

He can't because men must jump 3A in the SP with a solo jump and a combo. So unless anyone goes for 4-4, 2 quads SP is maximum a men can do.

Oh I didn't realize the 3 axel was a required jump! Interesting! Okay, well that neutralizes things a little.

Ah!! OOR! I'm just recently came to japan for my master study, and my lab mate is HUGE fan of OOR. He's been trying to convert me into one 😁. when i hear THe Beginning, I immediately thought yuzu. The lyric is so spot on!!
Nb: wait, where's my manner? Just post out of no where😅. I discovered this awesome site just after skate canada, when i'm hit by lightning that is yuzu, before i have no idea about fs awesomeness. I only knew roughly yuna kim (becoz of OG fiasco) then and i always thought fs as a silly and boring sport before!! Silly me!! Nice to meet you all!! You're all AWESOME!!!

Welcome! This space is filled with love, wisdom and lots of fun. For you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9HdQwOY1vU

Nit-picky strictly speaking... they have to do an axel, but it doesn't have to be 3A... a double axel is allowed :-D

So, if a skater pops their 3A to 2A, it's not quite as costly as popping their solo jump into a double (zero points, like Yuzuru's popped quad at Skate Canada :-P)...

They can do the 4A if anyone managed to do. Boyang even though rotates very fast, his axel in general is iffy so more unlikely. And I don't want to see Yuzuru going for 4A though. It's too dangerous. Yagudin and Kulik both had huge 3A and both gave up the 4A.

IA, but I've never seen anyone have such a natural axel as Yuzuru. If anyone could it atm, he could.

I think the 4A that is successfully jumped (if ever) will be a 4.251 revolutions instead of 4.5 revolutions.

Anyone saw this clip yet?

The beginning I am not sure; talking about some frog mascot?? But the second part once again is showing the worlds what a wonderful, courteous young man Hanyu-san is. It says that he saw a reporter with a mask on and asked after his health. Then afterwards he kept on inquiring about his health every time they pass by each other. :agree:

Takeshi Honda said in an interview of a magazine that Yuzuru may be the person who could succeed 4A, but his coach would never allow him to include it in his programs. Because such a difficult element like 4A requires so much concentration and energy that apparently has a risk to destroy the whole program.

It may be better for us to expect to see his 4A in shows in future, or if it costs his health, I think we should give it up to witness 4A in our life :coffee:

This 4A talk.... I'm actually not sure if I wanna see that. It just sounds scary.
If not mistaken he mentioned before about trying it but he wasn't able to rotate 4 and a half turn.. more like 4 and a quarter or something like that. I could be mistaken though.. (can't really trust my memory haha)

Didn't he already attempt ut once at DOI with Mura this year?

Yep. He went for quad, after quad that say, if I remember it right. But it was UR by at least half a rotation, the blade was forward when he landed (and dived into the audience)

You know this weekend i've been diligently stalking on yuzu videos on youtube and try to not fell to much into yuzu-javi couple thing.. I think i failed with flying colors😅...yuzu-javi bromance is LIFE!!!😁😁

Quick question: Whenever news or media cites coaches Yuzuru has had before Orser, I have never seen any documentary/interview in recent years with Nanami coach in it, always Tsusuki sensei or another person. Is it because she refuses to do interviews and is a private person or what? Because next to Orser, she is a key reason why Yuzuru has such a good jump technique and foundation!
