I looked at the pamphlet page properly for the first time and it's just hilarious! Copy and paste error perhaps? Hahaha, I wonder what the people who actually have the hard copy thought of this error

They also did mistakes with Shoma, Daisuke, etc... The people working on the content of the pamphlet obviously didn't double check their work, lol! I hope they'll be careful for next year GPF.

We had a lot of fun with it. I personally still think it was a Yuzuvier fan who wanted them to do Pairs skating with Yuzu being lady luck

(Best part is actually that Shomas birthday is wrong too... and he's apparently the oldest)

I was just browsing through Arama!Japan (it's an entertainment blog mostly covering Jpop and I was surprised to see Hanyu-related or figure skating related articles!

I know there's really nothing new in these articles (but just to give a fix to those who are starting to have the IHYS )

YUZURU HANYU TOPS GOO’S MALE CELEBRITIES WITH FAIR SKIN RANKING
YUZURU HANYU AND SATOKO MIYAHARA WIN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
YUZURU HANYU URGES PEOPLE TO DONATE BLOOD IN NEW RED CROSS CM
YUZURU HANYU 1ST, SATOKO MIYAHARA 2ND, SHOMA UNO 3RD AT GRAND PRIX FINAL

Just click the Yuzuru Hanyu tag for more articles :luv17: :peace:

The articles has good points, tho I disagree with them on Nath should have been on podium after the SP, since Adam (and Ross) are more complete skaters.
But back to Yuzu, I'm pleased to see another skater having Yuzu has a model. I just hope he'll be careful with the quads coz being still young, he's more likely to injure his body as he's still growing. Yuzu went through this and currently, Nam is quite an unfortunate example. :(

The current judging system is rewarding skaters with difficulties, yet US still stresses that a flawless triples only program can still beat a not flawless program with two landed Quads.
This is not the direction the sport is heading, and will only make US further behind on the World stage.

I'm talking more on the PCS side, not the TES. Nath still has room to grow, and he will grow, just like Yuzu grew when he was his age. The kid knows how skating is evolving and he and his coach plan on continuing this way. He will learn to develop his artistry and do better quads, and will eventually become National champion if he's careful with his health (since he's 16, it can be very easy to get wounded but his body can learn to handle quads easier than for "older" skaters like Jason). Adam is working on quads as well, despite deciding not to include any in his SP this time, and working on his 4Lz (I'm still bitter on how he's been robbed from Nats title last year). Max is also keeping the quad(s) in.
If the USA fed has any sort of common sense, they'll let their quads-skaters grow and get the recognition they deserve, eventually. I don't believe they'll have any chance against Yuzu, Javi and Denis at Boston, but it will already be a start. Even more if Nath wins JWC (tho I'm rooting for Sota).
