So I´m guessing Yuzuru will go back to Japan this week or will wait to Borser to be back in Canada after European Championship.

Well, even if Brian's at Euros, there's still the rest of the TCC coaching team to help him. So he could go back to Toronto this week

Actually Yuzu could spend some time polishing the choreo with ShaeLynn Bourne, didn't she say there is a room for improvement left? And I'm pretty sure Tracy Wilson will be more than happy to work with Yuzu on PCS too. So he'll be pretty busy even without Brian being there.;)

I guess he will use time without Orser eyes to work hard on quad loop :dev3:

Agreed. I have a feeling he is going to add that quad to his cart this season if everything goes pretty well.

based on what happened to 4S it's better if Yuzu trains 4L in Japan
Umm, I missed his latest shows performances to be honest. What's the current 4S status with Yuzuru?

From what I've seen, it's still very stable, as it has been all season long. But perhaps giulia was talking about last year when he wasn't in Toronto at all and his 4S found consistency afterwards?

But well, from what I've read in Brian's statements at IFS magazine, he doesn't seem to be against Yuzu adding the 4Lo. He says "WHEN he adds the 4Lo into his programs", not IF. He wasn't against having the 4S on the SP either, even if Yuzuru's decision surprised him. So that could speak both about the freedom he gives to his skaters and Yuzu's consistency with the 4Lo.

when did he said that?

I can't find it between all the posts but thank you XD. If he doesn't add it for Worlds is simply because it's not ready, he said he would see how it is on practice and then decide what to do.

Oh sorry, should have checked the link again first. Perhaps this one will work? Not sure because my internet sucks today, though. It's still a nice article even if they got some things wrong like saying Yuzuru never scored as low as 6th in the SP since 2010 when we had 2013 Worlds...guess they got placements and scores mixed up :)

I hope Hanyu didn't watched US nationals, because if yes then I guess he is going to put that 4Lo as 4th quad :sarcasm:

He will do that next season I think. As for now hopefully only 3 quads lol because he has both 3A in combos in second half it's no less than quad.

I've been keeping up with the recent U.S. and Canadian nationals men's event and my thoughts are that I hope Yuzuru just sticks with his current layout. I really don't think he needs 4 quads at Worlds this year because other than Patrick Chan, none of them really pose a real threat to him.

Other than that, this is off topic but I'm excited for Nathan's future development and how that would motivate Nam as well (since they're similar ages, along with Boyang Jin). These three have all come in contact with Yuzu one way or another: in the article posted earlier, Nathan mentioned Yuzuru is his role model, Nam trains with alongside Yuzu and Boyang competed against him.

It's interesting to see how far Yuzuru has come to influenced younger skaters just like how other senior skaters influenced him during his junior years/transition into the senior circuit to progress even further in figure skating. :agree:

The thing Yuzuru has over quad jumpers in his free skate is that he has two 3A in combos in the second half and his 3As are huge with great GOE. It is not wrong to say his 3A combos are more like quads. If we count the score potential, then Yuzuru actually can get score for 5 quads in his free skate.
I don't think he will rush to 4 quads LP at WC, he needs 4Lo to stable before all things. Hopefully my guess is right.
