On twitter they said the energy looks like he's going for 3Lz-4Lo but popped it~ Of course I hope he is not considering that ^^;

when i 1st saw it yesterday i thought "oh wow, he will add not only 4Lo to his lp but 3lz3lo as well" cause never saw him do Loop combo, maybe when he was veeeery little, since he is planning to add 4lo and imagining he will to 3 quad program, he will repeat 3Lz instead of 4T, and if we know him by now when he tries sth at practice (ie SC Gala ) he probably will attempt it

And speaking of quads, I'm kind of curious on what he said to Shizuka about the QUAD AXEL!! :dance2: (We have to wait until the 29th of Feb for the show but there has been a video snippet of the interview) Cross posting from the YHIB (credits to the poster Echo Cheng)

Yuzu: I want to land a quad axel (He'd like to be able to land the quad axel)
Arakawa: 4A?
Yuzu: YES~~~ :eekn:

And IFS Magazine tweeted the other day that Japan might bid for the 2019 Worlds (http://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20160125-00000058-jij-spo) :hb::cheer2: If they will and if they'll be successful, do you think we'll see Yuzu until 2019??

If this is true, I'm probably more nervous for adding in a triple triple combo with a lutz and than actual 4lo :palmf: im sorry, i still get really nervous with anything that involves a lutz

just my speculation, lets not be worried yet, we will have a lot of time for that later  but as i said, when its Yuzuru nothing is impossible

Just a few days ago, I was googling for Yuzuru's loop combinations because I don't ever recall seeing him do the loop on the back end of a combination (maybe in Juniors?) so I''m really surprised to see him do that 3Lz+2L combination. I'm not sure if training for the loop combo is good though. Isn't it associated with hip injuries? Or maybe there's nothing to be worried about yet seeing that he hasn't mentioned anything about it at all...

That's why I solemnly swear I will never take anything he's doing at practice during Gala lightly anymore  :laugh2:

What is cosmo blog? The 6-months is a Visiting visa often issues to people who are visiting their families in Canada. I can't imagine Yuzu with this type of visa since it's so inconvenient and there are many different types of visa he can apply. He also needs to have multiple entries since he travels all over the world for competitions.
Cosmo blog is just one of the Yuzu fan blog, but it has the biggest number of access in Japan and the blogger usually puts reliable info. I believed her info this time because he does not have an employer in Canada which is required to have working visa. And I thought he can go out of Canada and reenter as long as his visa is valid so he would not have any problem going to other country for competition with the 6 month visiting visa. But I may be wrong or this blogger could be wrong. I also think if Yuzu want to change this situation I think he can get a working visa by receiving paymet from ANA's Canada
office instead of their headquarter in Tokyo and register as ANA's canadian
office employee for example. But I think some special arrangement like this is needed for him to have working visa.

Hi everyone! It's been a while but I've been very busy. Thankfully I didn't miss anything really. Thanks for all the updates!

Not sure if it's just me but I kinda like seeing that 3Lz-2Lo he practiced/tried. Even if he was actually aiming for 3Lo at the end. I just think it's interesting and rare to see. I wonder if he actually considers such combo as an option/alternate for sometime in the future.
(I wanna say it looks pretty but then anything he does is pretty to my eyes )

lolololll this kid. I guess we'll ~~see~~
But hey publicly known, Max Aaron has attempted it in harness and so has Artur Dmitriev Jr., and no offense but they're lower level skaters.

Oooh, I think so. Even if he doesn't want to, the JSF are definitely gonna pressure him.

About the 3Lz-2Lo on facebook someone said that he likes to warm up with lutz combinations so it may not be something he plans to add to his program.

actually, he always does 3Lo as his 1st jump during warm up, and not in combination :p

I think Japan is very likely to be successful in winning the bid for 2019 WC. The 2019 WC will be held in Asia. (It's Asia turn by then, 2017-2018 WC will be held in Europe, 2016 WC in NA, 2015 WC in Asia.) There aren't any Asian countries other than Japan that has medal contenders and a large figure skating audience. Korea will host the Olympics in 2018. It's unlikely Korea will have the resources to host another major championship in 2019. China already hosted the WC in 2015. So ISU is more likely to reward the bid to a different Asian country.

If Japan is successful in the bid, I think it's possible to see Yuzuru stay till 2019. He might want to retire in front of a home crowd. Also, he might want to try 4A for one more season. I think it's unlikely he will stay after 2019 because I don't think his body will be able to keep up with the technical demand of the sport after 2019.
