Its an only about 0.2 points increase of the BV.
The change in BV is very small. But he may get higher GOE for his 4s-3t than 4t-3t if his 4S has better quality. He doesn't have issue with 4t in the first half, but he does have some issues with 4t in the 2nd half of both the SP and LP. He couldn't land 4t in the 2nd half of SP. He popped twice and stepped out once. He can land 4t in the 2nd half of LP. But even when he lands 4t in the 2nd half of LP, it doesn't have the best quality, maybe close to UR.

0.22 points to be precise, because of the extra 10%. But I agree with gsyzf, he wasn't getting top GOEs on that one, so if he's more comfortable with the 4S now, he could get better GOEs.

I know your feelings!. I confess that when I saw him live at competitions I could not think of other things than yuzu before two hours from his performance. My stomach ached and I had no appetite. (BTW, I always feel that when he gets on the ice, it’s like a moving jewelry!
)Further, I hope so much he’ll achieve nice performances as he wishes. I was in the venue at NHK SP (106 point, it was the beginning of his journey of breaking WR). When he finished (it was a first clean SP at big competitions), we got crazy and the venue shook with joy. Further, the new record point was announced… Yuzu was fiercely moved like a kid… I really wish he can bring magical moments like this, or more than that at Boston.
Anyway, have a good time at Boston! You have the precious opportunity.

At first I got scared when I heard about the 4s+3t plan, but if he's that confident about it then I trust him. Whatever happens, I'm gonna be proud of him regardless of the results. I'm just happy that for the first time in his skating career, he managed this season so well (with his practice schedule and his health). I don't think he'd have ever broken the records this season if he didn't have the rest he deserved. Also, to those who are going to Boston, have fun and make as much memories as you can! You all should plan a meet-up after the competition and grab lunch together or something :thumbsup:
