Thanks sorrent. I understand what you said. But one thing, Brian himself said after the competition, “yuzu was nervous since his official practice. It was difficult to take care of both two at the same time.” It’s no wonder someone who listen to think that Brian took care of Javi more at that time before FP? Further, yuzu was also injured and in the mess. Why Brian didn't something more to ease yuzu’s mind? It’s a role of a coarch?
We don't know that Brian didn't. We lack the information to make any sort of evaluation of the quality of their relationship. I understand concern. I am concerned. We all want Yuzu to be happy (and to win) but our speculation about his relationship with Brian and the Cricket Club is going nowhere. I'm pretty sure that if Yuzu feels he is not getting what he needs, he'll go elsewhere. As it is, Brian is doing his best and Yuzu posted bigger scores this year than ever before. The imperfect skate he did at Worlds reflects a need to improve in areas which Yuzu and his team are well aware of now. They will be working on that next, just like they worked on his skating skills, his stamina, his jump-layout, and his polish and posture.
I'm not saying that Brian is perfect or that he may not have gotten the balance between Yuzu and Javi wrong this time. But that with all the imperfections that the situation has right now, the team works in a way that no other team works for any other coach and students anywhere in the world.
-Yuzu and Javi are the BEST IN THE WORLD and a lot of it is due to their training situation at the cricket club. Faults and all.
If this stops being ideal for Yuzu, he's not a victim to sit around letting a bad situation continue. He'll make a change if he needs it. Until then, he's in Toronto, getting ready for next season. -So Goo Yuzu!
