I didn't know they were going to ship those guide books overseas! Anyone know where I can put my name in for a chance to get one?

And what about this ... ?.

No comments about the last video interview of Brian posted yesterday? I mean the part regarding the future plans of Yuzuru (4L ...and not 5jumps more in general :D!).

Well, if he does add the 4Lo we can't say we didn't see it coming. And I agree with him on the quints, Yuzu doesn't need to risk potential injuries (when he's so injury prone already), he has 3 quads, his 3A, great SS and IN. I've seen Yuzu said he believes there will be a time of quints, but has he said anything about seriously attempting them himself? I liked that he said Yuzu was an inspiring skater. Even I, as a non skater, look up to him a lot

oh that's too bad, let's hope it's nothing more serious.

where did you see that?

Someone commented about airmail so I automatically assumed it meant they were willing to send the tourism book overseas, I could've interpreted that wrong.

What the heck. Give it a rest. You know nothing, the least of all whether Orser appreciates Yuzuru's gift or now, which by the way he said he does. So stop throwing mud at a person who played a large part in getting to where he is, a record breaker. Secondly, Yuzuru is not a god, he doesn't need to be worshipped as you seem to demand if people, especially of Orser. We're here to enjoy his skating, not to put him on a pedestal, and a coach is there to do his job and not to put his student on a pedestal. For pete's sake, it's sport, not a cult!

At the time of GPF when Yuzuru broke the records Orser was the great kahuna and the best coach ever and so on an so on and now he's unworthy of having Yuzuru as his student and should step down. But his greatest crime is, apparently, coaching and being proud of Javi who did a really good job for once. How about you take off your crazy fan glasses and stop blaming Orser and perhaps look at Yuzu himself. Who 's NOT a saint or a god, who's fallible and who cracked under pressure. Do I have to remind you how many times Javi cracked under pressure? Was it Orser's fault too?

ETA: sorry guys, but I've had enough of the evil!Orser meme, some people go really overboard with it. What really gets to me is treating an object of my/our/one's fannish affection like some sort of deity that everybody should bow to and kiss the ground they walk on.

The best comment about this topic!:agree:

I feel so incredibly lucky that I got to go to Barcelona twice :D And I'm absolutely going next season too ! (since it's in my country, I will even be able to bring along my mom :D )
I totally booked my room like two months ago lol

Ugg, I dunno what to do: GPF in Marsella or Worlds in Helsinki, both too much for my pocket

oh I see, unfortunately I don't think that will be possible:sad21:

^
:( sorry :ghug:
but think of all the money you save and can then blow on the GPF ;)
you said you were going, didn't you?

Well, i've only been living in sendai for this past 6 months, but i like it very much 😁 For me, I think Sendai's beauty is those that are understated, and calm. It's a really good place to live i think : calm, not hectic, nice people, nice air, great food, and also, the living cost here is comparably cheaper than other big city in japan (most important for dirt poor student like me he3). My friends who came to sendai said sendai is a good place just to calmly relieve from hectic life and stress. Maybe that the angle sendai gov aims for. Plus its Yuzu!!! Totally justified 😁😁😁

I've been living in Japan for over 16 years, in several cities, and Sendai is my favorite city so far. I try to visit 3-6 times a year. I agree with you how relaxed and calm it is. Very friendly people too. :)

That's a tough choice indeed ! I'm not planning to go to world right now because I have no idea where i'll be geographically and financially for it X_x (Marseille should be infinitely cheaper for me than Barcelona was) but any trip outside of Europe would be too much for me ^^"

Thanks Kansai PJ! Great edition! It’s like a montage film. The tone of color and the slow motion were also nice. I can enjoy the beauty of his stroke, movements, etc.
Thank you for sharing.

BTW, have you watched Requiem at Worlds? I remember you agreed with my view about Requiem at the summer show. I thought Requiem is about the disaster and it’s the same as hana-wa-saku, but the taste seemed totally different. you said you had that kind of feeling comparing hana-wa-salu with requiem.

Requiem at summer had his personal dark experiences like agony and sorrow. His eyes were shining as if he were crying. Just sad, and just beautiful. You also saw hana-ha-saku live at NHK cup 2014. To me, Hana-wa-saku there was soft, calm and tender as if it washed up our hardships at the venue. He described the death and live with affection. I couldn’t imagine that these past weeks after COC, he’d got huge amount of criticism and suffered from a lot of fear and injury. Further, the performances at SP and FP were unsatisfying. He is the person who can bring that EX under those circumstances.
Then, at GPF after two weeks from NHK, he did.

This time, how did you feel about Requiem?

Sorry to reply late. This is the first week back at universities here in Japan and I have been swamped!

I did see Requiem at worlds (and at NHK), and as always, I think it is a hauntingly beautiful program. For me, it was not as emotional as the earlier performances, but it still and touching and sweet in its projection of sadness and reflection. It will always be one of my favorites. I think I have footage of some of it and I will upload it once I get a chance to review it.

you are the first person I've seen that prefers another requiem performance more than the one in Worlds
