Thanks!
Sapporo is added to Makuhari! (i watched this page half a day ago. At that time, Makuhari only...)

ANA skating club said they would report about his condition around the middle of May. It may be soon..

Yes, hopefully we can hear the progress of his recovery soon. I am also curious about his plan for his programs. Since I would assume, by June, he would have already start learning them, so by now there should be at least an idea/a form of what they would be like

when does FaOI ends?

Kobe June 17-19 and Nagano on June 24-26.

If he is indeed have to be off ice for 2 months I would assume he would only start training by early June. Then since he is behind on his schedule for choreography practice, I would assume it would take 2-3 weeks for this the moment he is cleared to start skating again (possibly on early June). So even if he was to join the last FaOI i would imagine it would be a bit of a rush for him, since he would have just finished learning his new program. Schedule-wise, joining just seem like something that would be too hectic for him, considering he just recovered. I hope he will not push himself :slink:

thank you :luv17: maybe he can skate at the last show some past program or EX because anyway he shows new programs at DOI no?

When does DOI start? Do you think he will have recovered by then? It would be amazing if he could (because it could mean that the injury healed well and wasn't too serious), but if he's not ready yet it would be better for him to skip it, as well.

I checked and last year he participated in DOI on June 12-14 so it was even before some FaOI shows.

This year DOI is from July 1st to July 3rd. If he start training again in June as annonced, I think he will be here.

Question: why isn't Yuzuru part of Stars on Ice?

It's an IMG (agency he is not under) show although he has appeared in the cast before (last time was 2014 after Olympics). Also SOI these past two years seemed to have fallen when he was on break, last year he definitely deserved a rest and this year he is injured. Bad luck I guess, I'm sure they'd love to have him.

Plus I think he's affiliated with P&G who sponsors Fantasy on Ice so he's more likely to do FaoI than SOI.

When he cools down (GPF 2015 practice)
So fast, so cool!

Oh, he must have gotten some blueprint about his new programs:drama:… It’s so exciting!

In the case he asks Jeff again... Jeff’ll stay from the end of May to June in Japan (Of course, he has about two week off around the middle of June, but I cant imagine he’ll come back to Canada.). I’ve come to know Jeff made the FS for Marin during his stay for SOI in April. It may be not so difficult for Jeff to do a coreo work together with the shows.
If yuzu come back to Japan till June, or appear the latter shows of FaOI (or DOI at the beginning of July), they may have any time to work together in June.

ever since the rumor about his "new fast SP" came out last summer, i cant help but feel he actually has new SP choreographed last year but somehow they decided not to use it (i know he said he decided to use Chopin even before worlds last season but still ) i am probably wrong though but if its somehow the case it would be good for him to practice it from time to time and he would be used to it by th start of the season, i think its one of the reasons why SEIMEI had such a success from beginning, he did it at ice shows last summer (since he had no new SP) and got used to performing it in front of audience

I have a same feeling actually, I remember Orser said Yuzu has a new sp which perfectly matches his sense of rythm :) If they haven't done whole choreo there should have been the draft at least imo

You mean he may have made a new SP a years ago and it was not disclosed? It sounds interesting. Yes, we totally thought that he’d bring something new judging from various statements, but actually the announcement of Chopin was made (and the plan worked well.). If he has something already, it will be a help for his preparation of new season season.

Remember the last Faoi when Orser appeared there and did opening/closing choreo, he said to J media that Yuzu has new sp which perfectly matches his feel of rythm, then they kept Chopin:think:

i remember his statement. at the same time, as matmuh says, yuzu told that he'd already decided after worlds about keeping chopin. so we confused. :drama:

I love it, can watch him skating all day.

Another one from GPF and he clapped for Shoma..good senpai.

This one is from Boston cool down, but the slowmo gif is choppy, I hope someone will post the original footage.

Wow. No words. I rarely watch his warm-ups and practices. i am so amazed by the quality of his edgework here. It was even deeper and more profound than when he did his program. Left me wondering why he didn't do it in his programs though (well i know possibly cause he already has so much to do. But still, i can't imagine how beautiful his whole program would be if these are also incorporated. His already beautiful performance would be even more... beautiful???).

you should totally watch more!. In general he pays more attention to his body movement in practice than in the actual program.
