What's their source? How do they know his mother is against the surgery? How did the reporter get this information when no other media gets this information and JSF (or any official source) did not release anything about his mother's opinion?

Yeah, you are right. Besides instead of the tabloid details they don't seem to give any new information about his condition now. Like when will he approximately start training, or if he already had music/program in mind/in the work. Him walking in crutches, being impatient about his new program, etc is something that is expected, nothing new. But it might get lost in translation so I am not sure. I just hope he fully recover before starting his training, and also maybe he can just skip ice shows completely. :slink:

You know, it would not be unusual if he did have crutches. If he was told to keep weight off that foot, how would he otherwise get around? I doubt he stayed inside on his butt all day, and he would not be carried, so I pretty much expected he would have crutches. He is not using his wings to get to physio appts.

Perhaps it's best to wait for ANA's report on Yuzu's condition later on, just to be sure
Though well...if he is in crutches I guess it was to be expected. His foot is immobilized and he has to keep the weight off.
I just hope he doesn't get too impatient with the programs and tries to push himself too hard and doesn't allow his body to heal properly. Please Yuzu, stay calm and focus on recovery for the moment.

I am asking this: do the reporters personally know his family? Did they interview his family? Even if a reporter knows some of his family members, he/she is not supposed to release personal information without the permission of his family, especially things related to health conditions.

There are so many Japanese articles or reports about his family getting angry or saying this or doing that. Where do they get their information from? Many of those articles all sound tabloid to me.

Well I assume that many of them pull the information right out of their own rear ends  nothing new about that, really. Just take it all with a grain of salt. Or ignore it, that's the best thing you can do with gossip anyway.

J-Sports Channel 4 (paid channel) will air special request programs of the best six competitions. All are mens singles. Poor ladies
And Yuzuru is in the four competitions out of six

Some fans are now in spring cleaning/year-end cleaning state with their HD for the programs, and you know what is happening. They dig out old videos and cannot continue the work
:laugh2:

true!

what interests me about the air of the arkaibs, they say they'll put a new commentary. they may provide another episode! (please upload the video someone.)

This article is saying Yuzu was noticed in CC with crutches and fixed left leg, there was a idea of doing surgery but he refused because of further risks. It says its time to think about music choises, he is very impatient about new programs,. anyways please don't take this article serious, I have posted it to ask Japanese posters, is this magazine reliable or tabloid? sounded like tabloid tho :think.

it's a tabloid magazine, not reliable. they use these kind of writing just to collect viewers(his mother, スケート関係者).

I don't take those reports seriously. But some fans might take them too seriously and get into panic mode. I think it's best to share articles or reports that actually have legitimate source or come from reputable mainstream media.

I've read an article and feel like it was a cheap tragedy novel. So much drama, panic, such an accent on suffering. They have a talent for poor writing and tear-jerking style, which is common for many Jp tabloids and TV programs. Well, some people from Japan I know take these things seriously and sentimently, so they have their target audience.
I don't believe many things in this "article" and will be looking forward to official news.

pffftt the least trustworthy source in Japan is this 'zasshi news' aside from 'saizowoman' these two tabloid always blows out proportion and write article based on speculation. I always got scolded by my friend if I told her any news I heard from these two sources :laugh2:

zasshi news is not trustworthy or not, its not magazine or newspaper, its summing all japanese news, from reputation newspaper to magazine tabloid

"殿の春風きたぁ~! Remember in the movie, Yuzu-Tono wrote 'Spring Breeze' as a name for a liquor? Now a shop is really selling it! It's a top-quality sake being named 'Tono no Shunpuu' (Lord's Spring Breeze)" - Shared by Angelica Yuzu @YHIFG FB

It's around 20 euros for a bottle of 750 ml - info by Sophie Vialet.

That would be a dream since I think he has so much more potential than what he can show in just 2 years... for him the sky is the limit, but it would involve real pacing and care of the body... javi and patrick will be the same age in 2018 as yuzu would be in 2022, so it is possible. First we need to get to 2018!
