First; who the hell is Daniel? Second; pretty sure that Yuzuru only rivals are Javier and Shoma and possibly Patrick! The others have many weaknesses like (mutiple quads but no artistry) or (artistry but only 1 quad).

Daniel Samohin is the Jr. World Champion. I agree that there aren't many skaters who could score numbers similar to Yuzu's when he is close to clean. But for example, he normally is not on his best shape on the first GP. And guys with 6 quads (2 in the SP, 4 in the FS) like Nathan and Daniel could take advantage of it.

Daniel is the 2016 junior world champion.
Well, Yuzuru is/was injured. So, I would not expect him to be in his best shape by the time GP starts. Besides, even if he is in a good shape, judging from his past seasons, he never did really well at GP series/early competition (until last season NHK i think). Adding to that, if he indeed increase his tech content next season (by adding 4Lo or moving quad to the second half), his early season performance will probably be sub-par. He is not going to score over 300 every time.

That said, I think he can still medal and qualify for GPF without having to be clean. Did some math before, with his last season layout, even if he make 1 mistake in SP and 2 mistake in the free, he could still score about 270-290 depending on the extent of his mistakes, which should be enough to medal or maybe win depending on how others are doing. I think those men are mentioned because they have the potential to score big (with their 5-6 quads, and personally i think they have better pcs than boyang)

Kinda agree, though as long as quad boys are more liked than the 3A lady by them :biggrin:, I have no worry about that.

This is a truly amazing work…All of his memorable scenes bring me a bit of tears.. I can imagine how much time you had to spend for arranging the images from a lot of sources and connecting them seamlessly in detail, with pretty dramatic taste. And you inserted the brilliant practices like steps (2:50) that we love! Although there is a little regret in the end，but I believe that this is just episodes on his journey.

He has always been injured at the end of every season, but he is not going to be injured throughout the whole off season. He has never been in best shape when the GP starts. I don't expect this season to be any different. His performance at NHK last season was because he trained really intensively after losing to Patrick at SC, and this led to him being injured throughout the season. (Honestly, I hope he doesn't compete at SC next season because the same thing might happen if he loses to Patrick again.) His program layout is very difficult and risky, if he does well in early competitions, the risk of him being injured for the rest of the season is quite high.

I don't think the scores next season will be as inflated as this season. 300+ might be quite rare next season.
