Ohhh boy it turns out I booked my flight a day early and didn't realize until I got a reminder e-mail today.... that my flight is tomorrow.... I got a huge fright but everything is settled now so I don't really want to talk about it :laugh:

Anyway is there anyone who has an extra practice ticket for Wednesday I could buy from in person? Asking just in case because it would be nice to meet some of you in the process! And I can't buy from the official site anymore. (Else I will post on the sale thread.)

And in any case since I'll be going alone- if there's anyone who wants to meet up before/during practices on Thursday or Wednesday pm me, I'm down :)

(Also I am SO not chill anymore I'm almost nauseous but playing it cool.)

Have a safe trip! You can purchase my ticket. Keep in mind it's only pairs in the morning though.
 
Guys, chill. This is basically intimidation tactics. Just take it for what it is. It's okay. The most important thing and the only thing he can control is: that he goes clean and shows his quality and is happy with his skate. Whatever happens after, happens.
 
I feel like I'm getting heart palpitations every time I think about this competition T__T

Also it turns out I calculated the time conversions wrong so I won't be able to watch any free skate live streams on Saturday, which means my heart rate will be racing as soon as I wake up to check results. Oh Yuzu what have you done to me XP

I agree. I hope he doesn't think so much about other competitors layouts as we do. The only thing that matters is how everyone skates the day of real competition.

I've passed beyond the anxiety state and is in zen state now... currently trying to do some work while crossing my toes lol (fingers needed for typing) :laugh:
 
Aaaaaaa, I'm so excited (and nervous) for Worldsssss. :hap57:

4CC was so intense for me, I ended up binge eating a large bag of popcorn and a whole lot of apples while my dad suffers from the scratch I gave him when Yuzu popped the COD. :biggrin:

Somehow I have a tendency to hurt anyone in arms reach while watching Yuzu...:con3:

Ohh you're right! I thought there would be OP on Wednesday, too, for some reason... I'll just see Yuzu practice on Thursday then.

But my offer to meet-up still stands :laugh:

Awww, home from work to find all these pages... haven't checked them yet but it seems like right now there's some freaking about layouts.... an important thing to remember: the SP! If Yuzu nails his SP, that program will score big and there will be a big gap between him and the others... I hope he skates after everyone else too. That always a) fires him up and, b) it will really hammer home to the judges the difference between his elements and the rest.

Hope everyone had a good day and a good night... off to start where I left off when I woke up this morning... 24 pages ago....

Add: SO glad to see Tracy there. She's been such a help to Yuzu that it seems only fitting. I have never seen her at the boards before at a competition, even in practice. She could be a big calming influence for him if he needs it. I wonder if this is something they are thinking of for the future, like for at the Olympics, when Brian will be in high demand for his stressed out guys... or maybe it's just today and she had the opportunity to be there and took it. I just love that she was there.

Come on people, we were all happy just few hours ago.

Lets stay positive and believe in Yuzu. He is happy, healthy and motivated what do you want more.
 
Chen doing 4lo while has an issue with hip injury make it sound like 'suicide' to me. I know Yuzu was rackless too when he was teen but what Nathan do right now is just plainly stupid. Idk what his coach even thinking tbh, it seem Chen already planning to dissapear once he get Olympic gold and never comeback. Everything seem so rushed, and I don't like it.
 
Watching the practice clips kiches posted on their tumblr and I find it so cute and adorable he went to get reassurance from Pooh (that famous photo of some pages ago) after his fail IB-3A (fall). He seemed to be having a talk with the bear. This is where Brian and Tracy facepalmed too. :laugh:

Yes yes :D :D I love the many occasions of pair action in TCC, Yuzu immitating Brian and Brian and Tracy facepalming together.
