Oh my god that thing was absolutely awful to read! They are actually saying that Kikuchi san is a warlock who makes other competitors fall?! What kind of newspaper is that oh my god...
Well a Russian yellow reporter once called Mr. Kikuchi a "fengsui master". :laugh2: but I remember most Russian fans don't take her seriously.

I know I shouldn't post bad things here, but I'm really mad at this article written by the spanish press:dev2:

I'm reading it and I'm facepalming so hard. They're painting this really contrasting picture of sunny Javi and isolated, unsociable ghostly Yuzuru...

And that skaters believe Kikuchi-san makes them fall down with his mind or something.

I can't even.

The worst thing is that this newspaper is the most important here in Spain, like Idk the New York Times in USA. I'm really mad because they show Yuzu like a strange person, and I bet they don't know anything about him. And if he likes being alone what's the problem? Really, they should only write about football, leave alone figure skating!

What on earth... if there's any evil magic going on isn't the prime suspect Morozov. How is this a legitimate article in an actual paper...

Who are the idiots who think Kikuchi-san can make them fall down? If they do they don't deserve to be spinning around on ice :palmf: Is like semi-traditional medicine so difficult to understand to Westerners?

Why don't they stick to football and leave figure skating? Why?
They show Yuzuru like a ghost:confused:They say he's isolated all the time, only with his mother, his bodyward and other person, who I guess is Kikuchi- san, who apparently is a warlock, and his presence scares the other competitors... :palmf::palmf: And that Yuzuru admires Javi because he's capable of being competitive without being isolated like him. I don't know where they found this BS, but this is treated as a "serious" newspaper, not a gossip one.

Sorry for bringing this here but I needed to share my feelings :sad21:

I hope this kind of things never get to Yuzu, I prefer him living in a buble than having to read this.

This is so, so clumsily done ( they expect people to take them seriously?:bang:) but also mean-spirited and just slanderous. How could this be a serious newspaper o_o|| Is the writer at all someone notable?

Wow, Kikuchi's function is to make other skaters fall? He's been underperforming for years now!!!

Anyone who is a bit critical will realize that they are talking about Yuzu through things they've heard other people say and from personal opinions. They called Kikuchi san his spiritual counselor (in a translation i did for one of the Ex's they also call Kikuchi san "spiritual counselor".)
The fact that they say he needs someone like that (to make other competitors fall, a warlock...) feels incredibly disrespectful to Yuzu, as if he needed to turn to supernatural forces to boost his skating...
Edit: I feel that they also wanted to picture him as a scared child (the "living with his mother" and "very isolated") thing. That just shows how little they know about him... (I have my theories why Hanyu mama decided to go to Canada with Yuzu... And if i am right it's a perfectly fine reason, completely understandable as my mother would do the same) Ugh, someone delete that from the internet, it's really bad.

I actually find stuff like this funny.

They must be horribly afraid of Yuzuru if they go to such lengths to describe him as some massive freak. Plus frankly, they look like ignorant, backward fools when they mention such idiotic things about Kikuchi- san so overall, hilarious in the extreme. And that it is elpais of all papers!

Massively embarrassing for the Spaniards to be honest, and of no consequence to Yuzuru.

Hmmmm.. seeing that this is supposed to be a respectable publication, do you think it'd be worth it to bombard them with emails pointing out the gross errors and demanding some respect? :dev2:

Look, there will be people writing unpleasant stuff about him time and time again. If you find that they are spreading misleading info about Yuzuru, then inform them. In english, spanish, etc. It happens before and it will not stop happening. Personally, if things are opinion, then I don't think it should be a problem and you should leave it alone. But if it is wrong facts and you think it might somewhat be some sort of slander/libel, you can write to them. If they suddenly received >50 emails complaining about false info. I am pretty sure they would do something about it.

I don't recognize the autor, but I found his twitter, I'm seriously thinking about asking him where he found these nonsense, because I've never read anything like that:palmf:

Maybe they should think about writing about his other and also very scary opponents. It's not only Yuzu threatening to de-throne Javi this Worlds. There's at least two youngsters coming for those medals.

OMG El País should stick with Fùtbol rather than write sh.t like this really
Seriously I am not even mad. I am laughing so hard lmao :rofl2: seriously I pity the guy who came of such atrocity. And I pity the people who believe it. :laugh2:
