Since WTT is counted towards ISU PB's, I'll be anxious about it as well....I want Yuzu to keep his WR's but since its in Japan, I'm sure they'll be throwing out candies for some :roll5:

Ahh. Alina Zagitova makes it look so easy But his loop is beautiful (I think loop is my favorite jump now because of him...other than axel, but only his ) so I have no doubt his -3Lo would be too.

I actually don't really like Alina's 3Lo combo because it did not travel the ice and her flow out is often not good (not as good as her 3T combo that's for sure). I rarely see a good -3Lo combo tbh. Marin did a beautiful one once, but other than that one time, her 3Lz3Lo combo also barely travel the ice with any good flow out. Mao, miki, adelina etc, also their 3Lo combo are not ideal, imo. Have not seen Zhenya's, but I doubt it would be better than Alina's. Yuzuru's 3Lo from that -3T3Lo combo also barely travel, but has yet seen him do a -3Lo combo. Also, 3Lo combo is very hard on the hips, I can see many are reluctant to do it.

i haven't commented on Yuzu's victory yet but better late than never ^^ I actually cried real tears of joy when I saw the numbers on my phone and just couldn't believe that my intuition was true. I knew Yuzu could do it but it just seemed unreal when I saw how much he scored. And now I keep rewatching this programme because I still can't believe my eyes !

Max thinks it is a scandal that Yuzu got such low PCS. He is just so excited and overwhelmed at the same time, it is a real treat

I guess we're like him in that way. This number of pages has never been seen before in a fan fest. He broke FS record, we broke the record of most pages (and probably fastest growing number of pages lol)

I don't think I remember what it's like to watch figure skating live without extreme nail biting So this will be a change...

I agree with this statement! I am exhausted from watching so many competitons and being so emotionally invested! My fingernails need a break.

And I'm sure Yuzuru would have got even higher scores, if he had skated 5th or 6th. Judges tried to hold him down, because they didn't know how the others would perform, and also, I think they wanted to save some extra points for Javier (also for Shoma).. But Yuzuru skated so sensationally that they didn't have any other chance but to give him a new WR.

That's true but at the same time I'm glad he went first... as I have heard someone else say, if he had seen some of the others mess up he might have relaxed a bit knowing he had some leeway. But since he went first and assumed they would all skate as well or better as they did in the SP, he knew he had to do it perfectly or he would have no chance.

I tried cutting to get all the fluff but I'm not good at it and didn't spend too much time making it perfect. They showed a bunch of pictures of each skater and some of their personality keywords? It's interesting the pictures they chose for Yuzuru haha.
Kurt talked way more for the SP than FS, so I'll probably only do the FS later if no one uploads it by then.
