Well for worlds they don't have other events like short track to share the rink with. But it doesn't matter. Never understand why they don't just alternate men with another field and why does it have to be back-to back. I think the Men's event is the earlier event after team event too, so it will be much more tiring for them. Considering they all are doing hundreds of quads today, it will be quite a task for the Olympics. And the top 6 guys sans Javier all will likely skate at the team event too.![]()
It's not like they are not used to do back-to-back event, for GP there is a chance it will be back-to-back I think. But Olympic it will be team event - a day off- SP- FS. Talking about tiring. There is a one-day gap for the last field, but I think it is for the ladies? I am not sure need to recheck (if yes, why not just give it to the men sigh)
I don't get this logic either and I'm surprised no one advocated for a schedule change. I am expecting a war of attrition. Still, it's a bucket list item for me and no better time to go than when I can see my favorite skater in action. Also doesn't hurt that he already has one of those babies and that's a forever kind of thing.
OK.
