Mmm I didn't know that...Thx!!! So, another 4lo? I don't think he would do the 4lz, he didn't train it in the whole week here, it's super crazy even for Yuzuru.

Act III: Free Program (Act II:Short Program spontaneously combusted for some strange reason)
Yuzuru Hanyu is skating, and a million things go through his mind.
He managed to land that 4S3T but he isn't feeling too well...
"I might not be able to make this a performance i can feel satisfied with..." he thought as he lands his 2T. "I might not break my record either..."
And with determination, he set himself up for a 4T.
"But i will give the world another first"
 
Hi guys! I just returned from the dinner party that I had to attend today, half-drunk and all, and still the thing that was constantly on my mind was, "How did Yuzu do?". So you can imagine the first thing I did upon getting home was check on this thread. And I'm so happy by what I read.

Omg! Yuzu! Congratulations!!! You won the FS!!! :hap10: I'm so happy!!!!

I'm trying to catch up with the thread right now, but I'm afraid I might have to re-read everything later today when I wake up. But I'm just so happy right now I think I could kiss everyone in sight lol! Thank you Yuzu!! And thank you everyone here!! For supporting Yuzu no matter what and always!! :hap93:

Tv Asahi is showing Satton's 2015 Free at WTT abnd i can see Yuzu in the cheer section. I'm at work and good thing i have nothing assigned because i would be completely unable to do anythingggg
 
Finally sat down and watched his FS (I didn't watch it live because I was too focused on imploring the Skate Gods for a Happy Ending).

Anyway, he was wonderful and so were his coaches. I know Adam Rippon was very attached to Ghislain Briand when he skated at TCC and it looks like Yuzu is too--that was a long hug when he got off the ice. And Tracy totally rocks. :)

Very happy news about Yuzu's first place free skate! Laughing about the "change" in jump layout. It's amazing that he can think on his feet, enough to decide NOT to do 6 quad (attempts) because it would ruin the program.

What he skated:

4S (pop, but counts as attempt? How can judges hold him to a planned jump?)

So if he did go for 6 quads, I'm not sure what he could do with Zayak rules and all?

In ballet this is called a reverence :luv17: A gesture of respect/acknowledgement to the audience, his coaches and fellow skaters.

Probably to save energy for 4Tlo3S because it doesn't affect his spin levels and doesn't get him much extra GOE.

They are not even in the same league. Nathan just wants to win. Yuzu wants to be the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time).

Can we split it? Jumps, connecting elements, costumes, programs and miscellaneous... :laugh: There's a limit to how many rings our official Ring Bear-er can carry at once in its soft body :)

And you guys have been really frisky today! But yes, we'll have a biiiiiig wedding during the off season. We just need to decide where and then change the icons for the day and confuse the rest of the board for the lolz.
I also need to save that list somewhere!
