Just thought about the Zayak rule and that 70%-reduction for repeating a solo quad or triple jump. In mathematical terms it's not that stupid to jump a 4Lz or 4Lo twice (if you have the energy to do so). For the first jump you get the full BV of 13,6 or 12 anyway and for the repeat still 9,52 or 8,4 points (even 10,47 or 9,24 with the 10%-bonus in the second half). That equals the BV of a triple axel and is an economic substitution alternative for the 3Lz or 3F, because you don't have to learn a new jump to increase the BV of your layout.
I just don't know how negative it's impact would be on the GOE or the PCS. Does anyone know?
