@ErenaClaire, @mcq, @giulia,@MeltedIce, @Pamigena, @Lysambre,..Thanks for your supports! And @Biellmann, i see. I may have thoutht too much since i was tired after his competition this weekend.. now Im back.:)

I assume this article is new? http://www.asahi.com/articles/ASJBZ4DYXJBZUTQP01G.html
I hope someone can help with the summary. Thank you in advance.

The whole text is shown in this twitter. The summery is as follows. Further, i found another article about mental issue regarding the starting order. I remember you were concerned for it after Worlds 2016.

the newspaper source is from the twitter: https://twitter.com/sami_stream (sorry, i cant show it specifically)
At the 6 minutes warmup, he skipped some of the planned jumps, which was different from Orser’s instruction. he failed the first 4 loop and popped 4 sal. On the other, he succeeded another 4 sal and got 4t in latter half, when is the hard time for stamina.
He had a firm strategy. He had the experience that he’d run out of stamina when he had been the second order. Thus, he tried not to decreese his stamina for the second order performance this time.
Orser who’s worked with him for 5 years has well known about his character. he says, “ there weren’t before a 6 minutes warmup like this. He is like a child before a new toy. He is obssesed with quad.” but he doesnt deny hanyu’s thought and is not impatient. “he is not injury at present. Im satisfied with just that.”
Orser plans to let him tackle other elements than jumps, taking 5 months from now on and to heighten the perfection. he thinks making the peaking later is also OK considering the last two seasons, when he won GPF, but lost Worlds title.
Hanyu has the sense of achievement for that he got quad in latter half and seems determined saying that he will do his best with practice.

(On SP day,) He came back to the hotel late around midnight. Cutting down his sleep, he just continued to ponder and repeated the image training. He had the sense that he was not good at the second order. He reflected how to get over it. As a result, he reduced the number of his jumps at the 6 minutes warmup and prevented losing his stamina....

I think they mamma-mia-fantastico during NHK and GPF seimei too. In sync :laugh2:

:laugh2: Now I feel the need to go see that again ... because I need a reason to watch Seimei ... I just need to dig them up!

I would not mind if this year we got a few more of those!

After live-streaming the whole competition for two days straight I finally allowed myself out of the house today...:yahoo: and just watched the EX and I loved it!

I love how he focuses on the things BESIDE the jumps; there are people who will always find something negative to say and said that he was all jumps or whatever and I am so glad he showed them in style that he is not just about that; he is really an all around skater!

Oh this is so interesting, he's a thinker all right. Got to love how conscious he is of his present needs and how he actively seeks solutions instead of just waiting for it to sort itself out. Smart guy.

(welcome back hamaguri and thank you for everything, I hope you managed to rest a bit - Yuzu's EX is waiting for you)

So that's what Orser meant in the K&C: he was referring to Yuzu not bothering to tell him beforehand that he was going to change his warmup. That probably added a few more gray hairs to Brian's head.

And the part about how quads are for him like a child with a new toy. :laugh2:

hamaguri, thank you so much for translating this for us. You are an absolute treasure and we are so lucky to have you here.

Tarasova was hard on him? Well that's a surprise given how much she likes him now, she says nice things about him even when he doesn't do well. Yuzu seems to appreciate her too, I think he went to her and apologized for his subpar FS at Boston?
The Spanish commentators like him a lot, even though he's Javier's main rival. At the GPF one of them, Paloma, said that he was the best of all time for her.

I like Tarasova, she is harsh but fair. So many times i heard her say to the Russian skaters and not only that they are lazy or that they have to take example from Yuzu and work harder on their skills or even once she said that the guys have to lose some weight and then they'll be able to jump like that.

Really, this thread gets a Gold medal for speed. :points: I'll never get used to it  :laugh2:

Thanks for the updates and videos of the EX. :agree: It is indeed beautiful but the back of that costume though :eeking:

@Hamaguri glad you're back I must admit, I missed your translation posts. :hap10:

His swan costume is really beautiful. Still prefer his black swan-look though. It looks just Johnny's swan mixed with Mao's swan :luv17: Great!

Seems faster than ever. I almost given up to catch up, beyond my ability

Lol, I should have trusted Yuzu. I thought I would be bored by this new EX, but I loved it! :agree:

And I love the costume, so Yuzu!
