I have just read a fun fact: On Yuzu's birthday, 7 December, the Medals of Honors in Japan were established in 1881 - Yuzu got the purple ribbon, which he got in 2014. It is awarded to people who have contributed to artistic developments, improvements and accomplishments.
Maybe a Yuzu uber could send us a pic of him receiving this honor? I couldn't find one

If the numerous scratches I've had from my multiple cats are a qualification enough, then definitely so! I'm the one who made my parents accept a cat into their family at the tender age of four - they'd refused to consider it before. :laugh:

I don't think there was a picture but I believe this is a video of his speech/acceptance (?) and the ribbons looks like this.

I think he didn't attend the ceremony
 
So I have a kind of random question - I think I remember this interview (with Nobu?) where Yuzu said he likes shortcake/fruit cake, but doesn't like chocolate cake, anyone else knows this? Or did I hallucinate it?

And has he revealed more regarding his preferences regarding food?

If you are talking about his talk with nobu and shoma, he did say his favorite cake is strawberry shortcake. But I did not remember he said that he dislike chocolate cake. About his preferences in food, he said he is not interested in food, that was why he was skinny (he said this in 2014 though, during presscon after his three-peat win, so maybe now it is not the same anymore) hahahaha :laugh:

I remember now thanks to Pamigena, he doesn't dislike chocolate cake but just like shortcake more :laugh:

It's because my mother forced me to get a job this week and now I can't watch GPF live(stream) and my brain is protesting by shutting down...:slink:

Actually what he said was he doesn't usually have chocolate cake, that he usually eats shortcake. He was saying this because they were eating chocolate cake that Nobu recommended and he said it was tasty.

He was so young here, but his words faithfully expressed his goals and strategies for the future: "break through the barriers of limitation," always do his best to update his best scores, value and be responsible with his training and never give up. Today he is more aware of the dangers, but his desire to evolve always, beyond what we think, remains the same. Yuzu is unstoppable and determined. I admire him a lot for that.

In that photo brian DOES seem to be talking to Pooh. And Pooh just listens, calmly, as usual.. so funny.
