The seminar between ISU specialist and staffs at my ice rink has just finished. We were taught a lot. They talked about spin and step sequence levels. One of the examples was Yuzuru's last spin in his SP Let's go crazy (at GPF). The specialist said Yuzuru had 5 good features in that spins but too bad they don't have level 5 for it. :luv17:

They have lost sight of the main goal—that their top skaters preview Olympic ice at Four Continents. As an outsider, I do not consider the Asian Winter Games very important. For national pride, yes, but to the sport of figure skating, no. I am glad Yuzuru will not go, but I don't want Shoma to have to go either.

Japan usually don't care about Asian Winter Games. Just look at the skaters they sent to the previous games.
But the next Asian Winter Games will be held in the hometown of the JSF president. It's skating politics.
Jin boyang will be there for sure. Chinese care about the Asian Winter Games only second to the Winter Olympics.
Only Yuzu and Shoma has the chance to defeat a clean Jin, so, one of them has to go. I'm just glad it's not Yuzu.

After 2 consecutive seasons of crazy schedule NHK-GPF-National with the hardest layouts which resulted in a series of injuries (and don't forget the surgery), Yuzuru deserves a withdrawal this year. He has been strained crazily for too long. It's totally within his rights to put his health first. I am glad he takes things slowly and wisely now. This means he has matured.
