I am dying to watch it but i can't open dailymotion at work </3

Work. That total waste of time that doesn't allow one to do things one wants to do. :)
It'll be over soon.
If I weren't going to sleep I'd suugest we play a game and try and guess what is being discussed there. But... I really have to get my sleep pattern semi-normal now.

I had some slow days where i was essentially being paid to discuss Yuzuru Hanyu here and over facebook :P But now i need more Hanyu news or something, because i need the Hanyu high to get motivated and work faster now that i got some (well, a lot) of work assigned hahaha.
Too bad the deadline is way before World's...

Checking the yuzu thread in every morning has become a routine for me... you guys post so fast and so much

LOL. It's the first thing I do when I wake up in the morning! Before I get out of bed I check my tablet, see what you all have written during my night, and then turn the light off and lie there again for 20 minutes before I get out of bed, haha. I gasp when I see that the thread has moved gazillions of pages overnight (I"m almost opposite Japan, time wise, so I know they must have new or interviews etc to share, lol).

Me too. But sometimes that's scary - like when he withdrew from Japanese Nationals. Once I saw the page count, my heart sort of sank a little bit. So actually I was relieved when I saw that it was flu.

I remember that too. I saw that the thread had exploded and wondered, since the competition hadn't started, what the heck happened. Sometimes it takes me time to read everything and I have to rush to get ready for work since I missed my 20 minute extra luxury lie in time reading the thread.

Unfortunately I am in the middle of my finals and don't really have weekends. Tehnically I don't even have time to read this thread but here I am

Anyway, I just finally read the ice jewel interview and I'm just :luv17: rn
The way he describes H&L. The music being accompaniment and him being part of the space... I can't wait to be in the arena and within that space.

And again, thank you gladiolusc! I enjoyed reading your translation very much.
(Love your new title btw.)

For people who can read chinese, 新生組 did it: http://www.bilibili.com/video/av9087422/

I think yuzusorbet will post brief translations on her blog soon.

But generally, there aren't many new comments in SA2, actually :scratch3:

The main arc in reviewing his competitions was, 2 quads in AC and SC, 3 in NHK/GPF, reached his goal of 4 in 4CC with the recovery! But rival Nathan! Ends with death glare + looking toward the peak.

And then the Brian vs. Yuzu arc. Brian initially thought Yuzu was too into jumps, like a "child with a new toy". And they showed his protocol at AC with the 8's.
Yuzu, as we all know, thinks that if the jumps weren't there, the program doesn't stand. That even if the performance were beautiful, if he failed on the jump - "ah, he popped" "ah, that was a mistake" - everyone will think that way, himself included. Same end goal, different approach. Then in NHK, during practice, Yuzu focused on the skating, the spins, everything between the jumps, didn't actually jump. First 300's since last season. Then they showed his protocol, now with 9's.

The clips they used (hi-def koi dance?! four seasons LGC?! etc etc) were amazing though.

--------------------
Unrelated... but I'm looking forward to Yuzu's long interview coming up tomorrow for more of his take on things post-4CC!

Thanks :D I find his use of onomatopoeia for jumps very cute (and hard to translate :o). Yuzu really is something. Honestly I have no idea what a program like he described would look like, but I'm happy looking forward to it :3 Envious of all you Helsinki people who get to experience it in real life!

thanks @gladiolusc for the trans...
about 3A, not gonna lie for someone who barely know about figure skating till last year I was si surpries knowing that there are some ladies out there who try to jump quad and skip the 3A, even these day so many top men still strugle to landing it, so I have reached the conclution that the 3A jumb is so hard while here we have Yuzu who can jumb 3A from standstill, the calss of his own I think

so if Brian known as mr. tripleaxel can someday Yuzu known as mr. quadaxel too? :)
