It is. This is quite common, a lot of people I know (including me lol) tend do do that when we speak English, lol! But coming from Yuzu, it's adorable.

Yes, I do this too but kind of the other way around! I speak in a lower pitch when speaking English, haha. This kind of linguistic/speech habit is really interesting I wonder how his English is now considering he stayed in Canada quite long in the off-season.

I think his English skills depend on how much interaction he had with English speakers... or how much tv he watched in English.

But wouldn't it be cool if you could learn a language just by being in that country? Like breathing in the air there?
