So what is this rank actually about? Google translate says: "Hanyu's name - of the risk leather! ! It is to be the arm pillow handsome athlete third place! ! ! (((Not thin?" so I'm guessing it's about most handsome athlete, however 'risk leather' and 'arm pillow' in the same phrase got me :coffee: Is it another case of google horribly translating japanese names? the twitter translator also mentions 'twink' so

twink ....... :laugh2:

I have faith we’ll see Yuzu’s interview very soon, probably it’s just JSF who is carefully investigating Yuzu’s words and it takes more time than they thought :laugh2:

I don't know about you guys, but I now seriously want a "risk leather poll" completely unrelated: where had we stopped with those costume speculations?

What surprised me was that this survey seems to have been implemented by 250 women and 250 men. Why

Indeed the fact that there's no female at the top 5 seems interesting. :coffee: Also I'm glad that there's no leather involved. ;)

Another ranking, crappy translation says "socially want athletes ranking", don't ask me what does it mean. He"s first though. :dance2: I see that japan really like their rankings

No matter how uncomfortable he's, no people on TV care if audience likes it... Still getting chills thinking back to GPF15, where some fans from Japan excitingly kept showing me "precious" pictures of Yuzu's naked back he awkwardly tried to hide from cameras, above everything else...
Yeah, I agree. It was quite annoying. He needs some privacy as he is a human being just like anyone else.

Extra part ranking:

It's the survey "Athlete you want to date" carried out among 200 University/College girls :coffee:

Edit:
Lambari, it's another survey "Who's arm do you want to sleep on (as a pillow) among good-looking athletes?"
Sorry, I'm not sure whether this expression in English is correct.

1. Atsuto Uchida
2. ??? ----------- Koji Murofushi
3. Yuzuru Hanyu
4. Kohei Uchimura
5. Makoto Hasebe

Lol did they mean a dakimakura pillow

It's great to have more and more updates from him, new season is really coming!!

Me too. Sudden flooding information really heighten my excitement about new season. I have many skaters whom I like, but none of them don't give me that sort of feeling to the same extent as yuzu does. In that sense, he is special to me.
This shows yesterday's preview for today's program. Where is that interview ? :angry2:

In this clip, Shoma said he had started the practice of 4Lo too after seeing Yuzuru's video ;)

I've just finished watching Yuzu part, but where is the interview in the garden???:(
Will it come later, like before Nationals in December?? (Fuji TV will broadcast nationals)
I am disappointed but well I will wait for Fuji to show that interview soon (hopefully!)
I could see Jeff, and he said that Yuzu asked a fun program he could enjoy:)

I'm sure someone will upload the clip soon.

According to the Twitter by Fuji, they seem to be going to air next part within days.

Most people must have thought that where that interview was. 😂 Fuji has done a lot of the things that disappointing skating fans. They shouldn't do anymore!

Thank you, hamaguri. I'm pretty sure so many complaints are reaching Fuji TV

Anyway, I've learnt this time (you may say "again"). Do not expect too much from the media, especially Fuji TV :shock2:

Maybe it is just me but his voice seems more high-pitched in general when speaking English compared to when he speaks in Japanese, that's cute

That manner is pretty common to men here in Japan when they speak in English.

This one is a ranking based from 200 Female College Students sample size regarding the sports athlete that they want to meet the most. ;)

So fun to read all the music recommendations :agree:. And I learnt today that Godzilla is from Japan :o:, I only know Ultraman :hopelessness:.

:hijacked:

I went to see the new Godzilla movie "Shin Godzilla/Godzilla Resurgence" recently. It was so impressive to watch, as I believe almost all Japanese including me felt the same hopelessness in despair not so long time ago.

I think Godzilla is not the title simply of a monster movie for Japanese. It is a kind of metaphor of the God of Destruction to us living in a country suffering from so many great natural disasters, maybe the disasters derived from the war included.

Fear and awe, feeling of despair, and a hope for restoration. Japanese may be repeating this in generations, which I believe have nurtured the national character in a meaning.

I found an interesting article about the movie.

"Godzilla Resurgence" is scheduled to be released in North America this October.

I wonder if Yuzuru has already watched it in Japan. It may be a fearsome one for him, but it ends with a hope.

Here are the theme music pieces used in this movie. They are also impressive.

If you have a chance to see this movie, just prepare for the scenes of meetings after meetings with awfully fast Japanese in the first half. Even Japanese sometimes miss phrases :p
