Yeah, it would be like a fresh beginning for a new Championship to hit that many pages as the competition began.

You would think they would have a write up about his graduation. They mentioned Kanako's, so you know they would say something about his if it happened.. and he said he had cut down on his course load so I"m thinking no?? I was hoping he would be done this year so that he would not have to worry about it in the Olympic season.... but maybe he decided to delay it so that he would still have school to distract him during the Olympic year.

Haven’t heard any news about his graduation. In this article they refers to Yuzu as “Yuzuru Hanyu who is enrolled in the human science department” so I think he is still a student of Waseda.

ETA In case if this article hasn’t been shared:
It’s an article about Daiya Seto (An Olympian and Japanese swimmer who was also born in 1994.) He graduated from Waseda today and said that he wanted to see Yuzu. Some people think that he meant to say “see Yuzu at graduation ceremony” and others think that he was saying that he wanted to see Yuzu in campus when they were both students.

You know, I was looking at his jacket and the symbol on it and wondered where it was from... and I remember thinking the same thing about the leather one he arrived in in Boston last year (we never learned where that one was from, did we?) If he wants to unofficially support a local clothing brand or small company in Japan then he should just wear their stuff because if I, a North American white female of northern European descent, want to know what he wears, then I imagine far more people want to know as well!!
