Yes, we do have a different point of view and we are entitled to both those views. As this is not Brian Orser's fan fest, it's an exchange of opposite opinions and that's that. I don't particularly like reading odes to Orser either, or Javier come to think of it, so I just skip those. I think a few posts will not harm anyone, as long as no-one goes into slander territory. But Orser gives interviews about Yuzuru that are in public and different folks, different strokes when it comes to how we perceive them. Either nobody talks about Orser or both sides get a say. It passes quickly anyway.
As someone who considers herself an Orser fan, I completely agree with this post. And I totally understand why many here have concerns about Brian; he does have a remarkable ability to make some clueless comments to the press. And the press, sadly, never follows up on those comments so we're left to wonder: What the hell did he mean by that?
Brian is coaching one of Yuzu's closest competitors. And not only is he coaching him, he seems to have a close personal relationship with him as well -- a relationship he doesn't have with Yuzu. Brian also has made it clear that he considers transforming Javi his greatest accomplishment as a coach. Given all this, I don't think some concern on the part of Yuzu fans about him is unwarranted.
As for the IceNetwork article, I actually thing Brian unintentionally makes Javi look bad. If Javi can do the quad loop, why isn't he working to integrate it into his programs? Given Javi's notorious reputation for having been a slacker, he probably should have not brought that up. But you know, clueless.

Will he skate last in the first group as the SP draw then?
