Yuzuru Hanyu: 2016-17 Season

I'm so happy for him!! He looked so pleased at the end, I think he was glad that he could allow himself not to overthink it and not let the fall affect him and just to push through. Two quads, two axels, and the lutz!!!! I love this program so much and I really see the potential in it now that he can execute it beautifully. And he will!

Phew.. .that was nerve-wracking! That was the best I could have hoped for right now honestly. He was pretty tentative throughout the program and he's still getting used to the layout but I'm so glad to see that he's happy with it and smiling at the end! :hap93:

Fell on the 4Lo, popped the 4S-3T into a 3S-3T, and had that odd slip-up in the last spin, but overall not bad. The 3As looked good, and Brian commented to Yuzu in the Kiss&Cry that he hadn't fallen on a single Toe this week, so that's good.
And that embarrassed smile at the end like "Whoops, almost lost my balance there!"

Now we wait.

His stamina is much improved from the AC. It went way better than I feared it would so I'm right now.

Next thing is to figure out what was said in the K&C. Yuzu's English has really improved but I could only pick up parts of their conversation.

ETA: They couldn't see his legs?!

So I guess we are right on pace with this time of the season? 2/4 with quads; little tumble at the very end (stamina?), I am sure he will sell it more once he gets more used to the program.

I think he's talking about the white? I imagine and yes that is very solvable. I think he just loves the white.
